400+ Players in Bannerlord multiplayer.

These games are organised and hosted by clans on a private server.
They work because everyone follows a set of rules in order to recreate a more realistic battle scenario.
Example: Keeping a good formation, no solo playing, no trolling.
It worth also mentioning these are friendly games. Winning is certainly our goal but it doesn't matter as long as we have an epic fight to talk about!

Firing arrows to force the enemy to use shields and be unable to stop the cavalry charge using pikes was an awesome tactic. Bannerlord be developing galaxy brains.

The first flag you loot and its your own unit XD. In my head in another world, there's something poetic or tragic about a squad leader learning his unit perished in battle as he comes across his tattered flag in the midst of battle.

PLEASE add more emphasis on the numbers of soldiers on each side as the battle rages on. It’s so satisfying watching the numbers drop in a Calvary charge. But it’s so hard to see on mobile

Loved seeing the archers, one tip you could use is to give people in your team a number 1 or 2 that way when you want them to split you can say 1's go left and 2's go right etc

Pure curiousity: are there clans with different warfare tactics? For now I see only one type of army: spear-sword infantry bulk+ auxiliary archers with heavy cav.

While its overall pretty similar, each clan/infantry group certainly has their own playstyle, for example Aquitanie, Benoni’s regiment are really strong as a solid wall and defense, but one of our other duchies is really aggressive and good at breaking shieldwalls so it differs on who you play with

I don't understand why 'loose' should be the right term, why not 'shoot'? Anyways the most common means of fire in the US civil war according to a drill manual was firing by file. As you keep someone pinned that way with constant fire. Obviously I don't know if there's anything about late medieval, but volleys just don't make much sense to me unless you're the attacker and need to advance.

The Archers job is never to fully kill the enemy but to pin them or wound them so that the infantry have a easier time dealing with them. Loose and Shoot both apply to bows but loose is the more commonly used term as it means to release a arrow from a bow that is fully drawn. Draw to pull the bow sting back, loose to release it. The term shoot more applies to crossbows.

Aye we talk about this often. You nock an arrow. But the act of drawing and shooting is 1 act. You would pull the. Let go, never hold. Unless I guess if you had a smaller hunting bow? I don’t particularly know.
