Imagine if this game had veterancy levels. His sniper rifle would probably be firing on full auto and blowing up enemies. A very dark episode of Noddie.
one man decides to murder every living person (that chopper pilot is actually an AI, not real) and left-handedly take out all their base defenses. Leadership: 5%
This was one of the only missions where I got Leadership and Efficiency at 100%, only for Carter to tell me in the next mission that I blew up the wrong building. So you lied to me, game? lol.
I was kind of expecting all units except Buggies and Light Tanks (which also could have been pretty cool, and probably a whole lot faster if you wanted to). Pleasantly surprised, I never thought of the Commandos range and taking advantage of that.
I always tried to do this as a kid too, but I didn't have enough patience to actually shoot all of the vehicles, so I would just take out the SAM sites and fly the Chinook as close into the base as I could and try to see how many buildings I could destroy before a buggie found me
I do "destroy everything" runs of Rescue Tratos on Tiberian Sun, but I play at maximum speed for comedy as well as lack of patience. It's hilarious watching Umagon shoot at buildings a million times, after saying, "I only need one shot."
I almost always do GDI Mission 7 after this, as I like to completely clean out the maps as I play the campaign. If I just blow up the Airstrip, it doesn't feel "complete" because Nod still has a CY and can rebuild the Airstrip. Usually I blow up the Refinery, which stays destroyed in GDI Mission 7, the next one. Nod will quickly run out of $, and I can completely wipe them out, and take over the Czech Republic. I also tend to clean out Nod from the few GDI missions where you don't have to, such as GDI 11(Greece/Delphi), GDI 12 (Albania or Bulgaria/Mobius), and GDI 13(all you HAVE to do is destroy one building, the Chem Lab or whatever).
What's original hard mode, did they nerf the hard mode in the end? I've played it since it came out but I only ever played on normal difficulty because that was the OG difficulty. I heard complaints that Hard mode broke some missions as enemies moved faster? Come to think of it I have no idea what the original red alert difficulties meant either. I never noticed any difference in enemy health or firepower; and sometimes Hard Mode would make my stuff cost more credits; other times I played hard mode and my stuff cost exactly the same. Also in this remaster if I play a RA skirmish and pick hard enemies, what's the difference? do they just have more HP/firepower for their tanks etc?
Original hard is the hard mode at launch which is much harder than the current one which they nerfed in the first patch. People complained about it but I see absolutely no problem in doing the missions so far. On skirmish the AI produces faster and more and moves faster
Actually if you blow up some other main building instead of the Airstrip, Nod won't have it the next mission. Blow up the Hand of Nod instead or something. Nod will get all turrets / SAM sites you destroyed back though.
I’m not sure where to start, because this looks silly as well as funny. A commando with a sniper rifle took ages to finish his job killing EVERYONE. And by the time he’s done it’s already a few hours later
ahhh, Just had a nightmare that I'm some GDI commando and send into a NOD base with only a dagger lol.... somehow I managed to reach Kane and failed, died peacefully
yes youw ere lucky not to have them spawn from the sites! however, its also a example of realy terrible game design from this game in perticular. X3 i actuly got stuck on this mission cos the first two sam sites had two soldiers each... cut to Red alert, where if tanya C4's something nothing spawns to instantly damage her. because good game design. point im getting accross is, i am very sore about this bloody mission. XD
