Special Hobby's 1/48 Fairey Barracuda (Full Build) 

Another beauty: I’d love to see you build one of these someday in your current video format: 1/32 Puma; Harrier GR1, Swordfish or Lysander. I can only imagine the magnificent results you’d create Greg.

Another great build. Sometimes these least well known and weird looking airplanes endear themselves to you, the Barracuda, Firefly, Swordfish, I love them

Just enough intro to set the scene then onto the excellent modelling, scratch building and painting. Great stuff!

Fairey Barracuda is definitely an interesting subject. Some of the detailing is amazing but you do not say whether it was scratchbuilt or, came with the kit. Great before and after shots and an exceptional build again.

Very nice presentation. I bet you have a wall full of awards and contest trophies. Gorgeous model!!!! As a kid, I was having a good day if I could get the decals to stay on. Lol. I wish I had learned to paint and finish models like that when I was younger. Thanks for sharing this.

I think the one wing folded was the best answer for showing off this aircraft's form.

That is a stunning model. Whilst the Barra is never going to win any beauty contests, I do think the post-war EDSG over Sky scheme suits it - I built mine as RJ933, but not to the same standard. Lovely work.

I sort of like the looks of the plane , never really replaced the Swordfish . Interesting era .Dad was a C.P.O. serving on Ark Royal at the time .
