How many hotels were there in Medjugorje in 1991. ? I was there in 91 and I remember lots of Tabasco fields and farm land.

I do Tom have a problem with the Church calling a priest "Father" I never call anyone Father except for our Heavenly Father. It's as plain as day in the scriptures which the Clergy simply ignore because of self pride which we're indeed meant to become low in the World. Shocks me how much priests have in the form of living expenses salaries ECT. The Church has a long way to go yet.

it's all self-gratifying vanity if you think about it Tom. $$$$ in other words. I mean how many people can make all these trips over the world? That money should go to the poor. Sure it's nice to go on vacations and on pilgrimages but the Catholic Church has become a business over what the Lord really asks of us. To be like children to give up all and follow him they're not doing that. We all need to get better and realize we're all children of God and there is no need for traditional vanity in fact we need to let all in the Church who seeks the Lord . I learned the world is ruled by worldly rules and hates people who fail and are not successful. I see the Church doing the same thing to people. 😢 I witnessed it myself. We all fall way short of holiness.but we're all saints to be. But we can't get caught up in glorifying saints as in Carlos Acutis as done just recently. So much goes against what the scriptures mean and it's the pride of the Clergy who needs to change. Loving the Lord is a personal thing let's keep it that way and stop judging others. I'm just trying to make a point not with you my friend but with the Church.

Have read about blessed carlo acutis life and the great things he has done for the less unfortunate people this young man rightly deserves his sainthood if only young people around the world would be just a fraction like carlo the world would be a better place

There are Saints all over this World we live in . Babies who pass away are saints. Have to remember when money is spent unnecessarily it's all vanity. Do you know how much $ comes into Medjugorje each and every single day? We must not look for signs and miracles to comfort us they happen every day and just have a personal relationship with Jesus . Do I hope all is true about visionaries? Sure I do! But the Lord has said to be careful and not to trust man . Traditional ways are comforting but truth comes from the word of the Lord.

@@anthonyhopkins6262 I went to Medjugorje to find the peace I needed in which I got I was not looking for signs or visions the peace I got in this beautiful place was for nothing didn't cost me anything.and I went with 100 strangers and I came home with 100 great and true friends
