Love this story. It reminds me of a story my 97-year old Uncle told as kids from his time as a ground infantry soldier in Korea. They marched all over the countryside there, and he would tell us about a big Gorilla that was 10 feet tall and chased them around. He said its name was Tonsoo-Poo. We laughed and thought it was hilarious, and then of course he would jump at us and we would all scream and run away... But he told these stories of Tonsoo-Poo and how afraid of him they were, and gave detailed accounts about him. My uncle was NOT a "creative writer" type guy, or a drinker. He was all business, the ultimate 50's dad. So it makes me wonder now... was he really telling us about encounters they had with a BigFoot in Korea, but putting a humorous spin on it because he thought no one would believe him?

Chris, my mother and a friend of hers went on a trip to Alaska, a year or two ago. Part of the trip was a train ride from one place to another. Looking out the window, she saw something covered with hair, walking upright, in a forested area. Where she saw it was a remote place, a long distance from any other humans, houses, etc. It was too tall to be a man, and at that time of year, people in Alaska were not dressed in heavy coats and the like. Since you told this story today, and since my mother is no longer here to tell what she saw, I am passing this story on to you. Best wishes. Your program is a good one.

I read many accounts of old history, and ancient history, and incredible old historical finds, like stone tools encased in coal mines 1500 feet deep. Among those stories were very rare tribes of humanoids entirely covered with hair, facial and bodily fur coat hair. But their tribal symptom was to stay away from any hairless humanoids who mistook them for animals and the inference was, they never mixed socially!

My daughter was working at the Crescent Lodge in the Olympic State Park, Washington when she had the chance to get a signal and call me as the sun was setting. The resort was closed for the season and employees had been leaving. She was alone. We were talking when she said, "hmmm..... what is thaaa..." and began hyperventilating. The most terrifying moment as a mother came up on me but she was okay. She was able to run into the lodge and broke down in tears. That was a very REAL experience and she denied it for years. No bear or elk could make a sound like that, and it was powerful too cuz it was coming from a long distance away. I got out my iPhone and hit record to try to pick up some audio, I captured it on my iPhone phone but it is very faint, but in person i could definitely hear it much better…Olympic is massive, and so much of it is unexplored and wow I got the creeps big time in that park more than any that I’ve explored. I can send you the recorded sound if you are interested or have a way of analyzing it. Have you experienced anything like that? Never seen one, but many times heard "howls", whistles, and other unexplainable sounds. Odd tree breaks/structures on occasion. Of course the biggest share of these are the AF students practicing building shelters. Really neat area. Theres no shooting in the survival area, so that might be good for bigfoot activity. Great story but it's got a lot of holes. No modern "recon" force leaves the wire without NODs (night vision). In fact, the U.S. Army "owns" the night. The preference, especially during ingress and egress from a target is by night. Nobody sets up a "camp" on a recon mission and has time to "read," you're not making coffee or cooking anything (even with an MRE heater). If you are doing recon, you are by definition in enemy territory. US Army doctrine is at least 1/3 of personnel are pulling security at any one time when in a patrol base. The hierarchy of work in a patrol base is: 1. Security 2. Weapons cleaning and maintenance 3. Personal Hygiene 4. food 5. Sleep. (The training is so good I can remember that after nearly 25 years). You just don't go "off" mission to pursue something in the woods without getting authorization from your next higher. A recon patrol has a mission to complete they just don't bounce around the woods looking for cool stuff. Either you missed a lot of the details in Miles' story (details are important) or you need to verify Miles' military CV. There are a lot of "SF, Force Recon, Sniper, door gunners on the space shuttle" running around out there.

@josephluscavage8162 I have to agree with you. This story may be true, but there does sound like some holes in the story. I find it hard to believe that they would not have been issued any kind of ammo/weapon to defend against bears or other predators since they were in Alaska. Great story, but I'm leaning towards it just being a story.

I was a SERE instructor in the Air Firce from 75-79. I taught at the Fairchild Air Force Base school in northeastern Washington. The training area was further north, just north of Cusick, Washington in the Colville national Forest. On one of the training missions I had an element of students mix of officers and enlisted, all air crew members, training in global survival. We were in the phase of learning land navigation, and we were traveling from point to point, bushwhacking. We were a little bit behind on time, and we stopped and noticed huge footprints in the soft duff. They were approximately 18 inches long and about 6 inches wide , my students saw them and ask what in the hell are those and I said Bigfoot. They picked up the pace and we made it to our point on time. Unfortunately, I did not have a camera with me to take pictures of this. On another occasion, I had an element of students in training and my camp was about a quarter mile away from where the element was camped , We were in a static situation. It was about 9 PM and I was alone and calling it a day. I was laying down when something ran across the clearing and the interval of the footsteps and the vibrations told me that whatever ran across was quite large and the way it ran across gave me the impression. It was on two legs.

I had a Bigfoot encounter when I was a kid. Our family was visiting family friends in Willits California, located in Northern California, Mendocino County. We were visiting for the 4th of July. The family we were visiting lived in the mountains and the homes built there were spread out pretty far. The weather was nice so myself, my brother, sister and the two sons of the family we were visiting wanted to sleep outside. The family we were visiting had a large 6 person tent they pitched for us. As we were asleep in the tent I was awoken to the sound of twigs snapping as something approached the tent. I knew whatever it was, was sizeable. As the twigs were snapping with a loud crack. Rather than faintly if it were a raccoon or possum for example. Whatever it was came almost all the way up to the tent stopping only a few feet away. I was alarmed and frightened knowing something was out there, possibly a black bear? However when it started breathing heavy/sniffing and making a strange grunting/combined growling sound, I knew it wasn’t a bear. Not only that the sound wasn’t at or near ground level where we were sleeping. The sound was coming from much higher, something towering over us. It paused at the tent for only 4-5 seconds and then took off like a bat out of hell running down hill through the forest. You could hear massive shuffling of leaves and twigs snapping under it’s feet as it ran away. Including trees rustling and smaller limbs snapping and being cracked off as it ran away. I presume it was grabbing/slinging itself off the trees to help it control its rapid descent down the mountain. The sound and speed of it crashing through the forest was incredible, like a truck was driving through it. The sound of it running lasted for about 6-7 seconds and then the sound of it running stopped. There was a pause of silence for about two seconds. Then it started this blood curdling howling I had never heard any animal make that just carried through the forest. By my estimation of the distance of the howling to our tent. It had travelled approximately 75-80 yards in 6-7 seconds running down hill. It continued to howl for about 4-5 seconds and then I heard the sound of a very large tree branch being broken off. I knew it was a large limb as the sound it let off. A massive cracking and snap as it was broken off, rustling against surrounding tress as it fell to the ground with a heavy thud. Then it continued to run away until you couldn’t hear the sound of leaves, twigs and branches rustling anymore. It’s stark quite in the woods and sound travels well. At the point that it started to run away from the tent I started hitting and shaking everyone in their sleeping bags waking them up. They all heard the thrashing of it running through the forest and it howling as well. We were all scared as heck and quickly abandoned the tent, making a mad dash to the house and woke our parents. My sister was so scared she was crying. They said it was probably a bear. They didn’t experience it and from the height of the sound over the tent, to the sounds it made, it’s massive speed, power, howling and breaking of tree branches… It wasn’t a bear! Still gives me goosebumps thinking about it as I type this out to this day...

I have been around this stuff since I was a graduate student in Anthropology in the 1970's. The agencies, and I mean all of them, including the military are well aware of these creatures. Several have special procedures when they are encountered, especially if dead or wounded. I refer to the case of the burn victim up in Battle Mountain who became burned during one of the large range fires up there. Also, the victims of the Mount St. Helens eruption, which supposedly decimated over a dozen clans. It is a myth that they are isolated in the Northwest. Not so. Their populations have grown and they are now in all of the states of the US alone. They are illusive, very family protective, and extremely territorial. They have been found even out in the high desert areas of places like Utah (like the Hamlin Valley area) with a recent case up in the Ruby Mountain area of NE Nevada, where some hunters got run out of their camp by some very aggressive ones. I have had two personal experiences- one at a campground right by the entrance to the Crater Lake Park where one walked right through our camp during the night (yes, they are primarily nocturnal)), and the other was deep in a very isolated area of the Middle Fork of the Feather River just below Brush Creek, CA. They have incredible senses and can be extremely stealthy. Many times they move through the woods by themselves, but it has been my observation that they are never too far from family, which they will protect with their lives. In my opinion, they are remnants of the Gigantopithicus family but closer to us genetically (based on what I have seen of the DNA data). It is my understanding that they are protected.

Great story telling... like many with shreds of truth and hard to explain. Unless you've been in the military, some stories are hard to add up. As a Navy Veteran of nearly 12 years, I was never assigned to a ship! Meanwhile at a picnic I ran into a guy who was assigned ship duty.... in the Army! Assigned right out of Boot Camp!...He said, somewhat angrily: "if I wanted to be on a ship I would have joined the NAVY!!!" He then asked me what line of work I was in... I said "you don't want to know"...he insisted that he did, and though proud of my Navy service, I was reluctant to tell him...and sure enough, when told, his face had this, contorted, confused look, then he simply mumbled "You've never been on a ship??? Never... on a ship???...That ain't right man, that ain't right!"... later in my career I got to visit a carrier and a fast attack sub...but MY job was land locked! I was part of a "Space Force" that dealt with Satellites in Geo Stationary Orbit in the 70's & 80's... Originally known as DSCS (Defense Satellite Communications System) We were part of the US Navy's contribution to the joint global operation of DSCS (pronounced discus) We were trained by the Army at Ft Monmouth and Ft Gordon, home of the US Army's Signal Corps School. My 'Sea Duty' could be in remote places like Iceland, Diego Garcia, etc...I was fortunate to see the transition from Navy SATCOM to NATO's SATCOM in Keflavik, with special training in Italy and earning a NATO Rating of OR-1(Navy ET1) and given a NATO ID CARD to boot...oh the stories I could tell...these videos are part of a "Round Table of Knowledge" (see the channel), also MISSING 411 and others. The Book of Daniel mentions that "KNOWLEDGE SHALL BE INCREASED", which we are certainly witnessing and at an alarming pace (think AI, UFO/UAP, Edward Snowden, Q, Col Corso, etc). For reference see Matthew's Testimony (Gospel) Chapter 24. The line between Good & Evil is becoming sharper...with the future becoming unbelievable and the (true) past being revealed...fasten your seatbelts, it's gonna be a bumpy ride (See John's Testimony -The Revelation) Thanks again for the story

What a crazy story of US gov't Special Ops in pursuit of an unknown creature, then having to abandon it due to being spooked out by it, adding it would outnumber us. Your viewer Anthony's story of special survival training with Fairchild Air Force base in WA is really interesting that the back of the map showed sasquatch as a "dangerous animal", a rather undeclared and implicit admission of the existence of North America's cryptid.

I believe there is a bfro incident of a team of military people training just like this story, but in the middle of the night a bigfoot ran next to or through their camp. The military people tracked the things to a hillside where they could see 2 figures on the high ground observing them. Once the mission was over and they were back to their base, their CO asked the commander if they ran into any of those big fella's, and the commander was amazed that the CO knew of these creatures.

FASCINATING! Those tracks are in line, not side by side like a human, but similar to a chimp, yet so much larger. Watching chimps walking on a thin branch in a certain way, I noticed that they put one foot directly in front of the other, so that they don’t fall off; maybe that’s why Sasquatch tracks are often in a single line instead of side by side, maybe their tree climbing ancestry ( and current tree climbing behavior ) has influenced the way they walk on ground?

Washoe Lake is nice. In the late 1970s, I was the crew on my dad's 16' saiboat. Sierra Yacht Club had races out there. At times under sail, I hiked out on the edge of the boat parallel to the water. Great memories. Bigfoot intrigues me as I have lived in areas they're known to be. I have never seen one. When I was younger, I didn't know about Bigfoot. I also learned to ignore much of the nighttime noises. The prints in the snow seem obvious. The tracking in Alaska is really interesting. I like how when the team determined the other entity was tracking as good if not better than them, plus the nighttime racket, that's when they backed off to head back in. They certainly honed their tracking skills on that training!

Good story and it sounds completely legit. I had a similar experience in Arkansas in the woods one night when I was dragging a deer out. No vocalizations but heavy foot steps, tree shaking and tree knocks which i think more than one of these things was involved because one of them slipped up beside me in the dark on the way to my truck. I never knew he was there until I hit the unlock on my keybob and he took off and crashed through the underbrush. Animals don't do that. It was weird but it made me a believer even though I didn't actually see anything.

You are so right Chris! This story is interesting. Very scary as well. Although bigfoot doesn't seem to be violent, it's nothing I would want to come up on. Lol. These living beings are so fascinating that I hope one day that someone can get a clear upfront photo of these creatures. Their domain is the Forrest and they don't want to be threatened. It's their territory. Also, I often wonder what the government knows and not saying anything to the public. Fascinating!!! Stay safe Chris ❤

The hole within this story is the size of Wisconsin. In my younger years, I grew up hiking, fishing and camping Alaska. NOBODY in their right mind (military or civilian) wanders into the wilderness of Alaska without weapons and ammunition (of substantially large calibers) - NOBODY. Bigfoot? Even an Alaskan bull Moose is more than capable of becoming your worst and final nightmare. I'm certain some of my brethren will concur.

Fun Fact about Washington state , im 34 now but when I was young I got a book from goodwill that was about our national and state parks and showed a few things special about each state, it also listed animals native to the state and had sasquatch listed by the gov as an animal local to Washington state, always thought that was crazy but forgot about it until you said that about the map.
