the new levers with the hose running parallel to the bars is actually really nice with the routing through the headset 🤩👍 way cleaner look than you could get with the shimanos

Crankset on this setup is surprinsingly heavy, also the tires and new derrailleur.

With some Aspens, and XX1 SL bits you can save some grams, but If they are aiming this at an HT replacement, its not even close. The ONLY reason the pros choose an HT at some events is for the weight savings... Even with XX SL drivetrain and Control SL wheels, the S-Works model is still going to be at least 1.5kg heavier than the HT, and only a smidge lighter (if at all) than the current Epic... pointless exercise...

Function and durability is much more important like weight.

@@andrejhaluska4061 if it can survive the pros using it, us mere mortals will be fine (excluding bad luck) My XX1 AXS has been exceptional. Even with your suggestion, its still at least 2kg too fat for an HT replacement. Blevins will LOVE it for short track, and only ride it for the $$$ in the XCO... Id wager its the same for the other riders also...

There is almost no make sense compare a double suspension vs. rigid bike in terms of weight

Niner has one since 2018 with a really cool name: magic carpet ride, but it never took of the ground as the name would suggest 😅

The frame weight Specialized claims is from the S-works frame with the even better fact 12m carbon fibers, whereas ours is the little less expensive 11m version: 0:16 We hope to get an s-works frame soon to check 😉

Ist ja auch kein S-works 😉 hier ist ja durchaus noch ordentlich Tuning Potential vorhanden, wir haben nur leider den S-works Rahmen nicht rechtzeitig bekommen.
