Saw my first one over the weekend. It came up to enjoy a bit of sun on a rock, near a duck, then took to the water to swim, and then get to eating.

Took my dog to the creek the other day, and all of a sudden there was a huge splash, like someone threw a rock in or something, but no one else was there. Saw a tiny little head swimming towards us shortly afterwords…it was a muskrat!
