Speckled Beach Rocks Acrylic Painting | Easy Beginners Painting Tutorial

This is an easy way to paint beach rocks with acrylic paint. I used inexpensive acrylic craft paint to paint the rocks (or skipping stones). Any type of acrylic paint will work well with this project. A canvas can also be used instead of the watercolour paper that I painted on. I hope you like this painting tutorial. *** Art Supplies:
Black and white acrylic craft paint, white chalk pencil, palette, water, filbert brush, script liner brush, angle shader brushes and watercolour paper OR a canvas.

I know you did this ages ago and I have enjoyed so many of your videos ... you are very talented and I appreciate all your tutorials. Today I find myself needing to paint rocks in a simple way and I remembered watching this so long ago but I never forgot. Thank you ! I painted the pebbles on an acrylic pour painting : great colours but chaotic and too busy composition ... it made awesome pebbles. I was wondering about the watercolour paper and acrylic paints - do you put a layer of gesso or gel medium to prevent the acrylic paint from sinking into watercolour paper ? Is this important or unnecessary ? Thank you again for a very nice idea for the beginners

Interesting. I use a toothbrush and spray/speckle beaches on small canvasses
