I've probably followed a couple hundred art tutorials in my day, but never managed to produce anything I liked until this one. You're a miracle worker. 😅
Thanks so much for watching! I hope you have a great day! Painting Instructions: @0:00 Beach pebble acrylic painting tutorial. @0:05 Paint background. (Paint the background with black, grey and white acrylic paint. Paint circular patterns while alternating colour and layering the paint to create natural rock textures.) @2:18 Splatter paint. (Water down paint and gently splatter paint on to background to create a speckled effect with black, grey and white acrylic paint.) @3:07 Draw rock and pebble shapes. (Use a black Posca paint marker or black acrylic paint and a script liner paintbrush to draw on the rock and pebble shapes onto the canvas. Fill in any leftover spaces with the paint marker.) @6:51 Add shading (To make the rocks and pebble appear more 3-D paint some shading on the bottom half of each rock and pebble. I flipped the canvas so it was easier to shade with my paintbrush (so it looks like the top of the rocks but it's the bottom). Begin by thinning out the black acrylic paint with a bit of water. Use an ANGLED shader paintbrush. Dip the longest edge of the paintbrush into the black paint. Work paint into the brush by brushing it onto a paint palette as shown. Only half the paintbrush should have paint on it. Add shading to one side of the rock and brush it out towards the center of the rock.
