He was one of the best animators! The cartoons from the series that he made that were done only for the $ (new powerpuff girls. Extremely censored. Professor has a sanded down round chin and the teacher had her breasts removed. The mayor's red head assistant gone) are absolutely trash! They are like Brownies without chocolate
Long ago, in a distant land, I: Cartoon Network, the Show-Cancelling master of darkness unleashed an unspeakable wave of cancellations on great shows! But a foolish new show with an interesting plot and cool animation stepped forward to oppose me. Sching! (Season One) Clang! (Season Two) Slice! (Season Three) But before Season Four was released, I flung him into hiatus, where my evil is LAW! Now the fool seeks to return to television and undo the future that is Cartoon Network!
Season 4 actually did come out though. Season 5 is the new one. Also, it wasn’t really Cartoon Network that cancelled the show. Genndy worked on the original Clone Wars show instead of Samurai Jack.
This show was amazing at world building. When you REALLY look into the first few seasons, you see just how many brave, good warriors there are/were. Emphasizing that Jack wasn't alone in the good fight, but walked alone for his quest to get back to the past. In the final season, all these brave warriors finally pay Jack back for what he did.
Just watched n finish the whole series before the game released needed pit stops from tears N I noticed that myself this was never on adult swim till season 5 Toonami back then yea
Aight, so Jack is definitely a level 20 fighter and the DM (Aku) is trying his very best to come up with new enemies for Jack to at least struggle with.
Shinobi duel was an artistic/visual treat. Guardian fight was great because it's Jack barely holding his own against a vastly overpowered opponent. They're both awesome.
In this episode, it showed how he could defend himself even without the sword when he was first fighting them. Which he loses his sword in season 5, which showed that he could live without his mighty sword...!
I just realised PPG and Samurai Jack share the same sound effects, I guess that makes sense as they're both CN shows. Anyway, i'm early wow and I can't wait for S5!
xManarchie in one of first few episodes where he's helping the dogs from the robot beetles, the town the dogs are digging up is actually townsville from powerpuff girls, as evidenced by the old billboard sign. It's the same one in powerpuffgirls
It’s so cool because I only saw that last scene once or twice when I was around 7 or 8 years old. 15 years later and it is one of the few things in my childhood that I still remember in detail. I was really surprised to see it here because it was always in the back of my head but I could never really place if it was a dream or an actual scene from the show.
"A true coward runs not from his opponent but from himself" Jees who would have thought that a minor character would have accidentally predicted season 5
Hyaku Juu I know it’s late but 300 was a graphic novel by frank miller before it was a film. Genndy is a fan of his work. Also the show’s premise is based on one of miller’s other works called ronin.
Robin 2.0 z Back in the day when I was 8 on 2010 Boomerang began airing Samurai Jack and I watched it for the heck of it. And when it was announced that Jack would be back the hype really got me im now 14 and like most of you guys im not even sad of getting excited over a cartoon
No joking, the first scene was my first experience with Jack. It was late night, I had no idea what or who this guy was except he vaguely reminded me of Powerpuff girls.
Siegbrau Powers fuck I got them confused with the giant robot I meant the 8 killer robots episode For some reason I thought they were called Mondo-bots
- I always liked that verbose Indian deity warrior-guy. - Small wonder Demongo came back later on. - Sorry, Zack Snyder, but Genndy Tartakovsky and co. loosely adapted Frank Miller's 300 first.
