The Gibby/Octane team is a prime example of why people cheat. Their game knowledge and decision making was so bad even with cheats. I can’t image how bad they would play without them.

If this squad can’t take down cheaters it makes me feel less sad when I get taken out by cheaters. Its almost as bad in pubs too. It sucks putting in the time and effort to get better at this game only to be taken out by spineless idiots. They SERIOUSLY need to get a grip on cheaters in this game!!!

This vid is the perfect example of why I stopped playing Apex. Love the game, but you can't sit down and play anymore without running into at least one cheater squad. It's really bad in duo's. As always, love your content and hope you have better luck in the future.

I've stopped playing Apex since October. This cheater problem that still persists until today makes me want to stay away from it longer. I miss playing Apex, but now I rather just watch Jankz play than playing it myself.

You 3 guys are who I follow the most (and also moose). When I first started playing apex I watched you guys and out of amazement I've spent a lot of time trying to get better. I'm starting to lose interest in the game now, I already find it a difficult game and I have no hope to go up against cheaters. There's literally no point me playing in that situation. I really hope it's fixed soon, it's clearly out of control in ranked. These cheaters are also in pubs, not as much but still. Plus, there are those streamers and RU-vidrs that use discreet hacks sometimes so it's not easy to tell if they are cheating or not. I feel like this is the lowest point in apex right now. Hopefully only way is up from here because I do really enjoy the idea of playing apex.

Definitely noticed an increase in hackers lately. I play on console, which is infinitely harder to cheat on (except for strike pack). Spectated a guy using a 3x on a Havoc, BEAMING people from across the map. Shit is becoming a real problem

@ClozedCaskets! I don't even play ranked anymore because once you get above plats, it's all cheaters. And the way you have to play ranked for RP makes it difficult to deal with cheaters without getting destroyed by the 3P. All and still, I run into someone with mods every day in pubs. I also just found out recently that Cronus users can crank up aim assist to maximum, giving them sticky aim. Essentially soft aimbot. So if you ever see someone with impossible good tracking, there ya go.

Imagine a gamemode where everybody has the basic hack abilities, like you see all enemies like you're constantly scanning them, and basically aimbot and maybe fast healing and other things, and the competition boils down to who can use these abilities better, because you have them, but so does everybody else. If everybody's overpowered, no one is right?

Yeah ive been a consistent pred/ masters on console and after switching to PC i find it infuriating dying to these cheaters. Ive ran into pro's and have even fights and even killed some. Until they get rid of these cheaters im not going to be playing as much.

@@questinfarrow it is a problem but in a different way. People say there are no cheats on console but it's just lots of people using strikepacks and cronus. Basically things that make there be no recoil and such. So cheating but not as blatant

@@questinfarrow yeah like zanzeezy said, they just cheat in a different way. Strike Pack gives you 0 recoil and rapid single fire. Cronus Zen is a modded controller with built in aimbot. Just a hardware vs software thing. Definitely a way worse problem on PC though

Hey, Jankz. I think mainly its because of first split. it will get better later on, but that's how its when the content aint there FROM RESPAWN and its new split for master or pred position. As you said, at least its a content, but I agree, its hard that's why I don't bother and wait a bit later xD

Silly question I feel but at 16:50 while that octain is recharging his shield, hes got a red shield but his battery glows white. Why? I know it glows with w/e shield color you have.. or am I being dumb and it's only cells?? Please feel free to correct me

This is the main reason I don't play on pc. Higher frames, smoother play blah blah. That is not enough to make up for the frustrations of dieing to hackers left, right and center. If I died once to a hacker, I'd be spewing, but as often as it seems to be, I'd just quit. I'll stick to console play, where everyone's game is virtually the same, plus no cheaters. Maybe the odd strike pack here and there, but that's not cheating, and I'd rather play against that, than actual hacks. It's just not worth it for me, I don't care if it looks better or runs smoother, the moment I die to a hacker makes it absolutely not worth it.

I actually got the chance to ask 2 cheaters why they cheat 1 was completely toxic it was embarrassing lol, but the other genuinely seemed like he was having more of a good experience real wholesome if you ask me
