In this video I spectated random zero build players in Fortnite's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Event. As I spectated these players I gave several tips and advice on how I would approach the situations these players find themselves in to help you get better at Fortnite and win more in Fortnite zero build. My friend takes the grapple over the turtle mythics too, it's so tilting cause the grapple sucks compared to shockwaves and the turtle items

@@johnstewwy881definitely not more versatile, it is way less reliable, you need something to grapple onto in order to use it, while the turtle mythic you can just go any direction regardless of your surroundings

@@Thedude139 definitely more versatile because you can use it in a lot more situations i.e. grappling onto a car or super high ground, trees, etc. Also you can literally always grapple onto the floor in front of you in "any direction regardless of your surroundings"

It’s not reliable, ex. If you miss your grapple target you are just stuck in the animation standing still, if you grapple on the ground you are a very easy target, the grapple bug where you take fall damage, there is almost no situations where a grapple blade can do better than the mythics, just maybe for moving around the map

Good video Jake. I always think it's crazy how guys with almost 100% shotgun/close-range accuracy tend to also have terrible game sense (standing still in the open, hard scoping, etc). It's almost like players like oiled up fn are able to lean on their unbelievable accuracy to bail them out. 🤔

Great content as always Jake. That was such a good fight reset. Lucky that zip was there but still takes IQ to use your terrain to your advantage. Honestly my aim is better than before but knowing how and when to fight is 90 percent of it. I could be wrong but it's helped me. Also, the guy behind the rock could have shot sooner but waited and I think he played it right. Oiled up just was able to reset

12:00 “Bounty is on an AI”. How can you know that? I know some of them have a fairly meaningless mix of name and numbers but that sounds like it could be a real person? On that subject there seems to be quite a wide range of behaviours and capabilities for AIs. Some are pretty dim and provide a bit of target practice but others have ridiculously good (and fast) aim. Maybe a subject for a video?

Agree with the point you made about people shooting your car. If for some reason they're close to you and happen to shoot their auto shotgun at your car instead of you, you immediately know they're down a shot or two and the closer they get to needing to reload the less likely they can kill you and the more likely you will kill them.

Yep - nothing better than driving around a player who wastes 2-3 frenzy shots on the car so you can hop out and clean them up with a full mag

Hey @evolvejake . Your videos are so great and so helpful. Hope your wisdom teeth are better. Please could tou make a video about the weather forecast symbol near Ruined Reels? It shows on the map across the bridge from where thr gas station is but there is no tower and no tower bosses? Im so confused by it. Do you know what i mean? Is there some hidden underground layer there or something? Is it a bug of some kind?

Don't know how useful it is - but I've seen a clip about the grapple blade being useful to detect players in bushes. It snaps to the player sitting in the bush if you aim at it.

This player was good with a lot of elims (which is weird cos his Fortnite tracker doesn’t back that up) but he won that by pretty much 50/50ing everyone with Oscars. If you have that weapon and even decent aim you should win every fight. Way too OP.

I made one 3 months ago when it was added but they have changed it since then so that video is pretty outdated. Maybe I will make a video sometime soon about the updated version but the change happened around the time of my surgery and I havent gotten around to that yet because there was other things I wanted to cover. Glad you liked it. I think it can go both ways tho and it depends where the viewer is in their own progression seeing a player make super obvious mistakes might be boring or not helpful to someone who has been playing awhile but be very helpful for someone who is new. I agree tho I would prefer to watch someone that is at least somewhat aggro or active in the game.

How many AI do you guys think are in each game? Feels like over 50% to me

If you're on PC, you can upload your replay file to websites like "Raz Tracker" or "Osirion", and it parses all the data, such as how many people are on console, how many on PC, and how many bots. The amount of bots, I've found can be anywhere between 25 to 75 bots per lobby.

Another way is to go through the menu as if you're going to report a player, and count how many people are in that list (bots won't show up there)

People keep telling me the DPS is based on the number of players. As I thought, it's based on the storm circle number. This video proves it.

yea each storm phase has a set amount of damage per tick it does unless you have storm sickness which you get for taking an absurd amount of storm damage over the course of the game.
