I actually prefer the middle of nowhere drops because it gives u a chance to loot up and get those stragglers. Then u can hit the named locations and ambush players from the edges.

Drop somewhere u can at least get ur shield first bro. Then u can ambush anyone and take their weapons

@@juanmccoy3066 I agree, it doesn't make sense landing in a high landing spot when someone gets a gun before me and I barely have a shield lol

@@bgcm1995 yeah but there is a solution to that. If u hot drop u gotta remember nobody has shields either and everyone is panic looting and jumping in the open. Ull have one or two guys sneak looting and letting everyone kill eachother. It's pretty easy to kill the panic guys. U just need like literally any weapon if ur aim and fight skills are on point u can fuck em up without the shield advantage. Rememebr in zero u get a 50 overshield that recharges. That's an extra hit or two u can take. So it shouldn't be too hard to at lest kill the guys who drop near u. 99% of the time they'll panic and choke and if they don't then so what? It's a pub game. U go back to the lobby and load up another drop. There's also a pretty cool zero build practice map where u drop into coney with a bunch of people and just fight continuously. It's a good way to practice hot drops and zero build fights. I mean pub is practice in and of itself, none of that shit really counts anyway. So none of this even matters until u start playing for "hype" and cash cups. Which I just don't have the time to do, so on any given day I might be cautious for crown wins and other days I'm just fucking off clearing POIs and occasionally getting some relatively high kill games. Point is, don't let the game stress u out. If u do so what. Nothing is at stake here and we're not streamers.

Honestly yeah. I play on my 65inch 4k oled now days but when I played on my 24 inch 1080p monitor i was so much better. It's hard tho cuz u pay so much for these tvs and u wanna use them. What I'm gonna do when I can afford it is get a smaller TV just for Fortnite. And then use my TV for streaming Netflix and my single player games. I'm gonna have the whole set up for fortnite, the headset and everything. And when I do play a game like elden ring or something I can enjoy it on my nice 4k TV. Sometimes u gotta make sacrifices if u want to get better.

@@andyarmitage2895 For real. I was towards end game with three others left and they all had it. I had nowhere to dodge it in a small circle. FML. It doesn’t belong in Zero Build. Maybe for Build mode to destroy builds.
