Specters of always reminded me as a sort of alien / spider / squid in appearance... it help to think of the front of them as having mandibles like spiders do... and given Hephaestus's importance and that it was actually inside the Zenith processors for quite some time it would not surprise me at all if it learned from them and will incorporate their designs in the future.
@@unknown_2552 the third game is going to be so badass - just THINK of what our heroes have now! Apollo, Zenith tech...and lots of help from across the world! Peter Jackson-level of epic battles, no doubt!
You can also encounter them in 2 side quests. One where you go gather the resources for katallos arm and where you Turn off the futuristic machines near the zenith base
When you think about it Far Zenith's machines are the true definition of word "Alien" the words means "Don't Belongs on Earth" and Specters/Specter Prime sure does not belong on Earth when it comes to their designs and it's behavior because we can't really tell what it suppose to be. Far Zenith's Colony on Sirius might have more unique designs than just Specters since Nemesis are swarms of machines i have a feeling in future game we might not only face Specters.

The Specter is one of the best looking machines and great fun to fight. Hope we get more of them in future DLC. Another great Machine Spotlight 👌 also looking forward to your next combat challenge 👍
I was so worried about the end mission as I am just a casual player. In the end I did it and was surprised that the end boss was kind of boring to fight...
Great looking machine especially with it’s Pulse Cannon it’s yet my favourite detachable weapon would be great to see the Spectors surrounds it’s base after the final mission (Singularity) so you could fight them instead of attempting several times to go through the shield barrier
Am I mistaken, or did you cover this machine already? But this upload is way better? I could have swore I've seen you do a machine spotlight of the Specter even before the Specter Prime.
Now that you mention it, I did have a Spotlight for this that I was working on but I decided not to post it at the time because the audio was REALLY messed up. I don’t remember but I might have posted it then taken it down..
