Mariana from the shop goes over the difference between Spectra's Machine Mounted Control Receivers - LR30, LR50, and the LR60.
In most cases, the LR30 is used for small machinery, the LR50 is used with medium sized machines, and the LR60 is used with large machinery. Furthermore, the Spectra LR50 and the LR60 have additional features that the LR30 does not have. Both the Spectra LR50 and the LR60 have a plumb indicator and a blade tilt indicator.
What is the difference between Spectra's LR50 vs LR60?
The difference between the LR50 and the LR60 is that the Spectra LR60 has an additional feature - Angle Compensation Indicator. This feature allows the operator to check grade accurately without having to level the bucket which is a huge time saver in the field.

I've used the lr 50 on a d5n dozer and cut a dual slope for drainage, very nice set up and simple to use.

what would you recommend for a skid steer (bucket) i would think the LR60 would be best because case your cutting a ditch and you have it mounted on outside edge and while cutting ditch bottom you are also cutting a slope (angle compensation )

The LR60 would be perfect for what you described on small to medium sized equipment. For larger machinery, the angle compensation in some cases is not enough. We've seen guys who use two LR50s on vibration poles, on each end of the bucket so they can cut the ditch and grade at the same time.

Does the LR50 work with any laser level spectra precision? or does it only receive signals from some models of laser levels spectra precision?

The LR50 and LR series will work with any spectra red beam rotating laser. The LR series can actually be used with other brands besides spectra too as long the diode emitting the laser is red.
