saw these guys live in a tiny bar in nyc. they were on third. by far the best live metal performance i have ever been to. the entire group absolutely killed it. tight, crisp, energetic. after their set everyone looked around in mutual appreciation, a shared, "holy shit". also, the singer looks a bit like gilfoyle from silicon valley. after the show, i talked to the singer and the guitarist. nice guys. eager to chat and share a beer. that's one of the things i love about the black metal scene. at small venues, everyone's mingled in with each other, having a good time.
I came back from the future, towards the past, because the quality of the last album of the year 2021, led me to wonder about the bases of such an excellent work.

Ok this quite unique it has one of those old and rotting guitar sound and the drums are tuned lower. This really brings out the old sounds of black metal. Its nice to see someone who wants to sound like the older bands.
Try these awesome bands too ..Forteresse ,Csejthe, Monarque ,Ordoxe ,Froidure and Tenebrae if anyone interested in black metal from Canada. Hail ftom Greece Athens /m/

I was just randomly trying to find very lo-fi black metal and came across this. Isn't as a lo-fi as I was looking for, but holyfuckingshit..... What a majestic opening for an album! Blistering and colder than a witch's left nipple.

Such a great Band! The last album is a monument, Masterpiece and this one too! Total support from shitty France! ....La scène BM est vraiment bonne chez vous aussi. I just discovered this band by a random tweet I found searching for another band (Forteresse); some guy listed this band as one of his favourites as well as the mutual Forteresse so I just figured I'd give it a chance; I hate trying new music-especially Black Metal, but I had a feeling. As you may sometimes discover an artist on an apparently extraneous whim. Not disappointed.
