I have the same truck you have. I just recently bought some headers and had them ceramic coated. When I first got the truck in 2012 I had exhaust put in, flow master was the muffler and 2 1/2 in pipes were installed and made a dual. Here recently I went to go put my headers on and the guy called me saying “my headers have a 3in end and my pipes have a 2 1/2in and that if he was to fabricate to pipes to accommodate both ends he could do that but it’s possible it could trigger a check engine light. Option “B” was to buy a pipe kit to make the pipes 3inches but it would cost more money. There’s nothing wrong with my exhaust, I’ve gotten nothing but compliments on it. What are your thoughts and can you give me some advice?
I am soon to have similar setup with the speed engineering longtubes and corsa catback did everything bolt up no problem? And is that all you have done to it cause if mines gonna sound like that I can’t wait
@@simplybuilt_1708 I haven’t yet been procrastinating lowkey and also trying to find a good tuner local but I found one just wanna replace my pickup tube and oring before I throw em on should be within the next month or so
I have a 6.2 silverado with a borla catback system. When its in v4 its very quiet and smooth. No drone, no odd sounds, its nice on the highway because you can't hear the exhaust.
