Good idea but i think the lion on the left does not make sense because i think that if you place that statue in a rock like that it will fall and doesn't make any sense to me ( but i got your point of having the 2 statues), besides that the place is pretty specially the trees :)
would you mind doing a tutorial on this? explaining a bit what you are doing? I'm really amazed what you just created. Is it possible to do it in Unity 4.x as well?
Hello! Im Tomas and the reason why I'm talking to is: With famous RU-vidrs as Nodician, Hector Pulido, Ystarvak, and etc we are creating a "mini-company" called TGA to devote himself to the games. The "company" is relatively new, it was created less than one month ago and had some problems with the programmer and etc. We are starting with a game project called "Forbidden World (FOW)" where we are really looking for a group of workers who worry them be here. Tomorrow, we will receive the first map of the game and the character and is modeled and ready. There'll shoot a video which will rise to youtube Nodician looking for people who want to help on the project. I saw your map entry crystals and was very surprised, someone of your experience would serve us much! The issue is that we all work for free to take the company forward. That's it for today, my skype is Giova.1231 and if you want to accept me the friend request and will add to our group. A big hug!
Dude i want to know how are these clouds made , i saw u use the particle system but these clouds must have some sort of shader to look like that so are you using the normal shaders or any 3rd party ones and link them if possible :) Nice work btw.
When i look some particular pictures and i'm inspired, i start to draw some concept and when i'll have a good idea i make models, texture ecc... then i import all in unity 3D and i assemble everything in the scene.
You are talanted with put things where they fit. But I don't like the unity "problem" that anybody just use that preset trees and buildings, textures... That makes it a whole lot too easy and if you ask me, it's not 100% made by the unity user. If I'ld make a game (I definetly plan to make one :3), I'ld modell anything on my own and texture it with self-made/edites Textures. I know it's more work, but I think it's worth it. I also 'ld use blender game engine btw. Nice result here anyways. Cool vid.
Yeah good luck buddy that's gonna take ages. Look at the market, many indie games have store bought or preset textures and models, it's all about design and integration. Plus I'd just retexture a model before making my own
So every artists portfolios for videogame industry are shit just because they ended up being a "pictures" Ok if you support this opinion , immediately stop play video games :)
+jabba jack It's OK I would be really offended too if I didn't understand someone was making a joke about my work. I am just happy you replied honestly most people would simple be angry about it but you aren't :)
Oh, wow. I don't know how I missed that. I just started with Unity a week ago, but from what I know it looks like he might have just quickly touched up the terrain behind the scene after he finished it. I'm sure someone of this skill would have no trouble taking a moment to create a few mountains. But whether I'm wrong and it's just a skybox, the whole scene still looks great in my opinion.
Alex Estev Most probably 3d models. Similar ones on the asset store or you could make them relatively easily in something like world machine, mudbox and so on.
Looks like he spent a good while extra after the video on the mountains in the background, or he could have used pre-built assets but they look hand made, almost picture-like.
