Simplified - Higher frequency vs Lower CL timing results in Marginally better performance if you sacrifice CL for Frequency. Buying higher frequency ram is the better option. You're welcome.
It's worth noting that the Zeus RAM runs at 1.35v to accomplish 3200MHz at CL16, which is a problem on most laptops that do not support XMP and have to rely on the JEDEC spec (usually 1.2v 3200MHz CL22 like the T-Create Classic)
But the difference in FPS between the 3200 CL 16 and 3200 CL 22 isn't that major, is it? Like how much, a 1 - 5 % speed increase from the latter to the former?
I love it when people associate RAM with Storage and How they think they need an i7 with 16GB Ram to Run Microsoft office or Browsing, lol I have to tell them that 8GB of Ram is MORE then enough if you're just browsing and checking e-mail and doing office Productivity. BUT, when it comes to running editing software yes 16GB is recommended. Question though is what about Software like Mapping software of Auto Cad can I guess 16GB is recommended?
Question Between a ThinkPad x1 extreme vs a Yoga I9 which is better Only difference is a 1060 ti maxq card on thinkpad with 16gb and Yoga has 1060 ti with 12 gb and a hd touch screen 2 in 1
Two years late, but I would stay away from the Yoga in general, and ThinkPads have been trustworthy for a few decades, although you'll pay for the name a bit.
Hey brother! I have an important question to ask. What do you personally think is the best laptop for gaming laptop for video editing youtube videos under $1500 CAD
