@@Streetballer10 are you checking to see or are u checking because you know you have to. My point is that if you consciously check rather than automatically check then you’ll see something now if you consciously and automatically check while thinking you become lethal. There are apps for that kind of stuff.
So a few weeks ago I was having trouble with scoring goals during matches, so I decided that if I trained I would get better - and without a doubt After a week of non stop training with hard work I scored three goals on the next match! :)
This is the GOLDEN video of football videos on RU-vid. Everything explained in this video is literally what creates the different levels in football. If you want to elevate your game or even become professional, mastering this should be everything to you. Its SO unfortunate how not many people realize this.
Great video, love the topic. How do you challenge yourself to play quickly when you’re surrounded by worse players who don’t have the ability to play as quick? I can take few touches but it doesn’t translate because I’m not under a ton of pressure and not getting it played back with the same urgency. Finding higher level players isn’t really an option for me as I live within a small soccer community and away from the bigger cities. How should I challenge myself to play quicker when my technique is past those around me?
It's going to be difficult but even if those around you don't play quickly, it doesn't mean you can't. Challenge yourself by taking fewer touches and if you lose possession analyse why that happened.. is it really your teammates or something you've done. Try to play in a higher age group against faster stronger players and you will be challenged more.
Wow what a Great Video and thank you on your Advices for becoming a Pro cause I’m coming forward on my Journey to a Pro and your Videos are helping me so much to improve and be a better player 👌🏾🔥
It's more about doing the right thing at the right time. Sure, if you have the opportunity to be positive to attack and dribble into space or take players on in the right areas.. you should dribble. But if you're looking to dribble every time you receive the ball you'll become predictable and you will have less chances of success.. which means losing the ball and looking worse than playing a simple pass.
Brandon Carpenter so true 😅especially here in England they love aggressive players...and by the way your Parents choosed the right Name for you #TeamBrandon 💪🏾🔥
You should only dribble in 2 scenarios: 1) there's no good passes to make 2) the other team has weakness that you can exploit by dribbling. Perhaps they are giving you lots of space or they are slow.
This video was perfect! Everything was said so concisely and this is honestly a really important aspect of football that doesn't get taught enough in the states. I played for several years in america and not once was taught properly about this and pushed to improve it. i go to England and this is pretty much all they drill into our head. literally we could go threw half a week of training only doing 2 or 3 touch play even in the scrimmages.
FootPauler maybe just your situation, where I train we do loads of two touch drills and work on speed of play and it’s the biggest thing my coach emphasizes
Quick turns are the only way to play faster...as long as you take a quick turn into space and then its your choice to drift into the open space or pass an open player
TWO MINUTE TUESDAY SUCKKK!!!!!!!!!!!....nah just kidding, thanks for all the help you have given me and others who are watching...really appreciate it mate...
I think your first touch is really important to play quicker with the ball. When you get a pass, you should look up and see whats going on. If an opponent rushes at you, take the touch in a direction where they lose their momentum, then play the ball or move in the space you maybe just created. If you get a pass and just stand still, it's so much easier to take you out, and the better players will take advantage of bad touches.
this is really important to consider to improve as a player....thanks i'm watching you from Tanzania and to be honest your videos are surely helping keep it up bro and I pray that you gonna be the next star!
Hey guys today i had a school futsal torunament. I scored 1 goal and i made 6 assists out of all the 7 goals we scored. Two scouts got my name, and phone number and they will try to lure me into their school academy. Should i accept it, taking in the fact that after i finish high school i can join a college that is also an academy like the high school, and after that i can only work as a coach or a sports teacher, or a player if i succed at it. What do you think, should i accept this, or should i look for a club and go to another high school?
Any chance for a 28 yr old to come for a trail? I'm based in SA and think of playing in the American league's even if amateur. ..any suggestions? Kind Regards
One of the best way to improve speed of play is to condition players to 1 touch so they are forced to LOOK and THINK about the next pass before they receive the ball. If they have done the first parts right they still need to DECIDE and EXECUTE (technical) to gain success. Sometimes it's best to play slow.. knowing the right moment to increase the tempo of play is also involved.
I love this video so fucking much. Pardon my langauage , this video is so good, it clear a lot of things for me. You are amazing. Thanks for sharing amazing insides when u didn't have too. I truly appreciate u man. God bless. U are one cool dude.
can i get advice on how do i become anything better at football, when i have one futsal training session a week, dont have access to any more training because of winter, and my family cant afford for me to play at a better team with more training and coaching. I just don't know what to do because i just want to play football but i feel like i'm never going to get anywhere with it and i need your help
This is very true....the difference between a mediocre player and a good one often lays in the capability of understanding the game and foresee how the action is gonna develope
I completely agree with this. Last season my team got promoted from c1 to premier. At the beginning of our first premier season we would get out possessed and we just weren’t quick enough when we had the ball. Eventually after we adjusted to the speed of play of this new level we could play faster and now we went from getting destroyed by the worst team in the league. To almost sneaking away with a win against the team that won the league... twice. We managed not to get relagated, And now I have a great feeling about this season. Great vid Matt
