Because the builds are speed run cars I think if he bashed also he would probably have more but the content is all around good for both so who knows. I love this shit regardless lol
My soldering jobs have went from "it works" to "WOW! I did this?!" So nothing but love Raz, I've been spreading the word, Such a clean build, nicely done!
Great clean build setup. I did like the placement of the xlx2 so I adopted that👍🏼😁 Also, great job on the soldering. Those were some awesome tips. I like to plug the male and female connectors together so when the soldering is getting too 🔥🥵 the plug doesn't melt away. It stays in position. Almost done! Can't wait until the next video. Heat job.
Also I wanted to say that is that the information that you're putting out and the way that you're putting it out in a teaching and learning format we don't have a lot of the RC and the enthusiast doing it the way you do so I encourage you again to hang in there and If you keep putting content out like the way you're putting it out get out you will prosper from it that is a guarantee because information is power and you are putting out Is a lot of power about these RC cars Stay encouraged We will stay tuned in and Hopeful you will prosper soon
Great to watch and I’m glad you didn’t skip over the things you were doing . I usually tin both the wire and plug before joining but I have just done it ‘dry’ also and it seamed to be just as good 🤷♀️ . Keep up the good work 👍👌👍
Raz Im loving the content, starting watching a couple of months ago now. The way your sharing your knowledge is amazing and really entertaining. Great work.
Sir you earned my respect and sub. I just recently purchased a Limitless should be getting here tomorrow. Your great step by step videos have really helped me to setup my Limitless. Thank you for what you do for the RC Hobby.
And I just wanted to say Your tutorial on sauttering was awesome I thought I knew how to sautter until Today you really helped advance my sauttering skills to to the Max so so we will be looking out for you just be on the lookout appreciate you greatly
This video is so good Bro. You do such a great tutorial on soldering. I struggle all the the time with my connections and and this gives me way more confidence. Thank you for your insights.
I love your videos man. I live out in the beautiful countryside miles from a piece of flat concrete or asphalt that would be suitable for speed runs, but now I'm thinking about how I can build a "dirt road" speed runner. I put it all together in my head but the biggest hurdle seems to be tires. I'm skeptical the belted tires would hold up in the terrain at that speed.
Great video Raz! The anti spark connectors is the next upgrade for my limitless. And I will be copying your wiring with the new connectors. Soldering job was fine! Neat and no melted connector! I ignore what the rest say about your soldering skills🤥😳
This series is like the speed runners Bible 😂. Ive seen them all multiple times. Thanks for all the help with everything. You helped soon much with my first speed run build. What Temps u have your solder iron set too?
OK, I'm learning about soldering, how to setup batteries in parallel while it's really well explained with a excellently filmed video and learning a bad joke. I love your work ❤️
i had to take the durlock off the battery i made a stryene bottom in my tray works great thanks my friend great videos thanks for the help on alot of stuff keep the great videos comeing
The saying "there's more than one way to skin a cat," actually does not refer to the feline cat, it refers to the catfish because there are so many different ways to skin it and clean it. I went about 30 years thinking they were talking about cats until someone told me that. Lol you're welcome.
i did something similar. i put the xlx 2 in the back on the right swung the motormount around 1717 1260kv in there with cooling and then we made our own GFK Lipo plate on the other side to rise and secure the 2 4s lipos. fits in there pretty much perfect. and no gluestuff on the lipos since i used the old straps to secure the lipos to the gfk plate and the plate is secured with.... well 3m Dual lock XD also the xlx 2 was raised to and screwed to a new gfk plate with rubber risers and 3m again on the plate to chassis.holds extremely well and i can even remove it all relatively easily
Real nice video👍. Maybe a suggestion, buy youself (if you dont have one jet) a good air extractor with a filter. Fumes from soldering are really bad to inhale. And for some reason the smoke always goes right to my face😂😂
I can’t say anymore than a lot of others already have…. only that you keep the content coming, as it’s first class Raz👍 extremely good tutorial along with great editing… Hopefully RU-vid will start promoting your content again as these videos need to be seenu from would be a great loss🙏🏼
Cool build. Great info.Hay do you know of anyway to get the toe-in out of the rear wheels on an X-Maxx? I built a speed runner XLX2/1100 X-Maxx I've gotten to 76mph and it has a bad speed wobble. Thinking if I remove the rear toe-in it would help. Cheers👍🇨🇦👈🤠
I always make sure to plug the opposite connector into the connector I am soldering. It helps keep the bullets inside these style of connectors straight.
Raz I know your not making these videos for me only ; but I want you to know that the way you put information is awesome. So I want to encourage you to hang in there your information alone is need. I know you made mention about RU-vid paying you beans instead of steak it will come just hang in there but I thought it was just a sharing thing but now I know. I've been with your channel for a while but I learned something new I thought you were getting paid off of perfect pass and your carbon fiber accessories. I thought you had money to get Rc cars and just wanted to teach us new and secrets about the Rc game; and I'm saying that because I have about 150 rc cars but no channel. I'm thinking you gotta 9 to 5 and you were rich but like I said I learned a lot today
Hi Raz awsome info I just purchased the V2 and I need to see the video on how to extract the Qs8 bullets can you please send me the link thanks have a awsome Day or Night 💯👍🏾
Why 10 dislikes? People jealous or something? Lol of your knowledge and stuff? Maybe it's their ego? 🤣 i recently subscribed your channel. I'm just starting to get into the whole rc stuff but i know the knowledge you have and share is something you don't learn easily. Thank you for sharing!
Hi your channel is awesome and it's great that you help people with their problems! I have a 1/10 carten t410r with a tp motor 4040scm and 4200w with a hobbywing Max6 on 8s. And solid axeles in the front an rear. I have now the problem that any time I accelerate the car goes to the left side an if I stop accelerating it drives to the right side. It seems that ist lips to the right withe the rear axle. And the car ist very slippery and a able to drive. Would be great if you have any idea. Greetings from Germany.
As long as your not putting solder on the iron to apply solder to the connection your good. Tinning the wire is always best. Less heat is best so prepare for success and it will go easy.
@raz shifrin, hi love your videos was trying to do a build like this just order the 1717 from one and the bullets aren’t the same as the xlx2 did you have to change the wires to make it work thanks
If you ask me a great build. I would have done a few things diffrently like not stacking dual lock to raise something and use foam or carbon plate instead or just making the esc harness for 2 packs instead of this to my opinion weird connector thats kinda pointless in my opinion. And primarly taking off the batteries out of the car for soldering just for convinience xD But still a great build
Is it possible to run a 4070 motor and still have the batteries side by side with the xlx2 im looking to build a drag/speed run rig with the limitless.
Quick question: would you need a cap pack with this setup and what are cap packs actually useful for or should I say Intended for and when are they suggested to be used?
I'm mega new to this whole thing so I'm sorry for probably asking a dumb question but why do we need two batteries? And why the cutting and soldering? I'm super new to this, last time I had an RC car was 15 years ago and I was drifting so I really have no clue why those things are needed
Great video Raz!! I have a Monster 8s I can use without spending anymore $$$. What are the limitations on that esc setup with the 1650kv verses the XLX2? Looking forward to part 3! :-)
@@RazShifrin We shall see how much speed I can get out of the monster 8s! I’m interested in seeing the difference between the two builds. Yours will give me a benchmark to work towards since I’m new to the speed run sector of rc. Thanks for the content! It’s great! 👍
Balance plugs in the sex industri! 😂 High power lipo vibrators coming soon! 😂 Spot on build and vid Raz as always. Oh I just received my Cnhl lipos for my 300 kph project, surprised they have 8awg wires.
