This is what I like about this Speed Twin - the fact that you can enjoy all that grunt and squirt around the twisties at 50-70 mph and have a lot of fun doing it. Tuonos and Speed Triples are out there doing 110 on those same roads and not really having any more fun. Just risking a lot.
Cali is a dream... 2017 i spent my holiday in LA.. wow.. wish i could live there.. it would be a dream zu ride there with you... should visit cali again
I was looking at Google maps and got confused for a second. I usually take Piuma to Rambla Pacifico, then left on Las Flores. You stayed on Rambla Pacifico and went down farther. Ill have to try that next time. You are a good rider, never entering a corner with too much speed. Well done
Adam Croll Yeah, I love my Guzzi Griso but I only bought it as the Thruxton R was too ‘sports bike’ riding position for me as my R1200S already has that riding position. I asked the dealer if there was ever going to be a Thruxton engined T120 Bonneville style bike otherwise I’d have to get the Guzzi. Here we are three years later and it’s the bike I asked for. The Griso is great but pretty uncomfortable for me over distance (didn’t stop me riding it from the U.K. to the Guzzi factory on Lake Como last year though) so the Speed Twin is on the cards this year. I think It’s been 16yrs since I was in California but I’ve been many times in the 90’s/early 00’s. You’re very lucky to have all that in your doorstep. I look forward to your fork mod. Stay safe.
The Ducati spacers just arrived. Adding them tomorrow. I'm hoping slow speed throttle smoothes out. Next will be the stall bug when coming to a stop and I'll also take a look at the recall issue with the shift linkage. Prefer DIY since the closest shop is over 200 miles.
You "hate the truck" because it's a truck that can barely handle just doing the speed limit. Trust me, he probably hates you back for the freedom and bliss of two wheels ;)
