Marco, this is why we like the hell out of you; you're no-nonsense,no bullshit! You're the real deal!You want more (monetary) return on the investment (of your time). There's nothing wrong with that and everything right about that! If there's a better way to do it,DO IT! Make as much money as you want!! Very true man i wanted a hands off sales position so I could still focus on my business and a true connection with my fans. I feel as tho a full time sales rep position would change things and I don't like that .

Our speedokote select stuff is definitely higher priced for single stage but the coverage and pigment quality is top quality . Speedokote basecoat same thing priced a little higher but one coat coverage . I'll take slightly higher product costs for lower labor any day

Hey love your videos I have learned a lot from you I do restoration work at home in my little shop can you recommend a clear that has real good doi I put 4 to 5 coats on so I can cut and buff it flat thanks
Smr 42 is a very cheap affordable clear that is suitable for restoration work . One kit will yield about 4 coats of clear over a small or medium sized car .
Happy for you Marco. Truly am. This is a great decision and the right thing for you. You'll be a great salesman because a) you're not a "professional" salesman and b) because you know the industry. I've followed you for about two years now. Even though I'm too much of a pansy to paint my old 2001 Accord, I still watch as I find your genuine approach and "can do" attitude refreshing, educational and entertaining. I hope we continue to see you on here.....even if it's slightly less time. Is there anything us non-painters, or pansies in my case, can do to help you out? Axalta nason is 220 a gallon for primer for 2k high build $ expoy 100 bux for hardner 200 for a gallon of clear coat most expensive color I’ve done 500 $ a gallon Lexus Toyota color burgundy for the 88 corvette 6 paint jobs on it insurance is only paying me 160 hours 9k to save they wanted to write it of cost to much in a shop I’m one of the dyi autobody worked in shops since 1999 I live in the country no jobs started my own gig out my one car garage . I’ve got 160 into before paint some final fibreglass work polyester primer . I do to save the car .was part of a major forest fire 20 feet from the house that burned u do some thing solid for someone most of the time its always remembered and respected just gotta go that extra mile for your people customers theres always gonna be someone bad mouthing u .
You should be filming your mobile stuff. You can expense it out, draw a salary for your time. Then DIY when you feel like it. That way you're not grinding so hard.
The 222 is a great sandable primer . The 295 is an amazing last minute touch up for small burn throughs 222 needs sanded to be 100% 295 does not need sanded before paint . Apply over burn through spots ..let dry , put paint right over it
@@joshuawormington2880 no issue at all.. your best bet on primer is the ss2790g . Best filler primer on the market I know guys doing 30k paint jobs that's there foundation !
Thats ironic I have a gallon of that too, but the guy wants black primer on his truck “Rat rod” Speaking of the 2790 how does it sand? Does it gum up at all? Does it shrink much? Is 180 grit scratches fine enough?
@@joshuawormington2880 it sands amazing and always works great for me. So I always tell people never spray any kind of primer over 180 grit scratches... It will fill but all primers eventually given enough sun and heat exposure will always shrink back. Always sand up to 320 before priming even if using a primer filler
