And it's also really neat to tie in how beneficial fungus really is by showing it growing the flower. Ack I just love this!

I kinda imagined that it would be able to organically control anything it attaches itself to, and de-attaching/re-attaching can happen rapidly if it wants to (in cases of forestfire, or toxins seeping into the earth) it probably would look like sped up footage of roots growing into/outof its body. But if it finds somewhere to rest and set up its home, the situation would be more like the surface being attached to *it* instead of the other way around. Like it could directly influence the tiniest of changes in tree-tops without problem. And I'd imagine that instead of needing to find others of its kind to overcome longer periods of time, it would rather be able to reincarnate, like a young sapling growing out of a dead tree. Maybe it has multiple "seeds" for offspring just in case some don't make it, and the surviving strongest one merges with the rest of them?? Wether or not it's kind is a different question though ;))))))) you wouldn't call a colorful flower evil because it has poisonous attributes to protect itself from being eaten,, so I'd say as long as you're not actively cutting of its "limbs" by chopping down trees, or pouring waste into its rivers then you should be safe. So the question of wether this scene of it distracting one of the hikers with a flower is just a whimsical gesture, or a set-up for a trap,, depends entirely on wether or not the group has been respectful to nature during their trip. (my initial idea also included a distinct reason as to why the people in the back are checking their map,, if something can influence the nature surrounding them, would it be that farfetched that it intentionally led them away from their path? Again, maybe it just wants to lead them to a pretty clearing that's hidden away, but who knows)

Ebene 4 est l'esquisse initiale qui m'indique composition, atmosphère, couleurs, formes, ombres/lumières, etc,, et Ebene 5 est details/textures, un grand "clean-up". C'était aussi possible de simplement faire du "one-layer painting", mais j'aime combiner cette méthode avec la tendence de contrôler l'esquisse originale pout voir si j'ai perdu quelque chose intéressant pendant la "rendering"-procédure. D'avoir un plan ou idée visuelle précise est la prioritée pour cette maniére (pour éviter la risque de devoir redessiner grande parties de l'image ou des details complexes en cas d'une erreur)

Moi ça me fais peur de tout faire sur un "calque" (ebene), si je rate, de ne pas pouvoir bien reprendre :'( en tout cas tu expliques très bien merci, bonne continuation !

So you have to feed your brain useful stuff too, and not just train your skills. The "expressing it properly" is something, I think, every artist will spend their entire lives always working on, practicing, improving,, so don't stress too much about it. My solution to the initial hurdle, was to get "more efficient" at drawing. My problem was that I often lost the drive to finish a piece, even if I was mega inspired at first. So -> I had learn how to draw faster. Which also meant wasting less time on re-doing work,, which meant planning through better,, AKA becoming efficient. (that has been a process I worked on across years) You gotta ask yourself, where your hurdles are, and how you can cross them,, what to focus on etc.

If you're talking about the space surrounding the canvas, then you can change that simply by right-clicking on it when you have an image open, but if you're talking about the program's interface then I'm not sure. Which version of Elements do you have? I'm working with Elements.10, and googling something like "can you change the color of user interface of photoshop elements" mostly showed forums of people complaining about it :
