Don't feel bad. Even when we can count up enough friends, even enough who dig the same game, it's a perpetual curse of never being able to get everyone available at the same time anyway lol, even if everyone met by playing a match at the same time by happenstance to begin with :P So you're not missing much, as this goes
@@wookops2523 Agreed! Just a few weeks ago, I had someone at work tell me something (can't remember exactly, it was some emotion they were having or something). I repeated what they said back to them to demonstrate I understood and was listening before addressing what they said and they go "No, that's not what I'm saying". So I apologize, ask them to repeat it and they say the same thing. Again, I say "So it's (repeat exactly what they said), right?" They say "Never mind, you don't even want to listen to me" and I was left wondering if I just got in a RU-vid comments argument IRL 🤣
Honestly the concept of a group working in tandem to complete a game at a possibly faster speed than a solo player could?, that just sounds cool. really cool.
@King It's crazy to me that people make strangely vague comments and even more crazy that they seem oddly like a bad attempt at instigating an argument
That shit can happen in Team Fortress 2 occasionally. It's the funniest fucking thing to see someone look like they took a grenade or rocket to the head, then proceed to fall over like they slipped
@@callmezeldaonemoartime didn't say they were dumb but to stumble upon a very useful exploit with very little understanding of glitches randomly is impressive
Your writing and narration is so well-done that even the parts I knew kept me engaged wondering what will come next, plus the explanations were perfect. Brilliant video!
This guy speaks so well that I watch his videos even though I don’t soeedrun nor play most the games he makes videos about. He does a great job of keeping my interest
For a game that was designed from the ground up to be a cooperative experience, I find it rather appropriate, and a tad ironic, that the latest speedrun strats for it revolve around cooperative gameplay.
Crediting the music used for the video in the description is honestly such an underrated thing for creators to do. Thank you so much for taking the time to do it. May your video be further blessed by the algorithm.
I now have a primal urge to see Speedrun versus. The score tallies by each round's completion time instead of the traditional scoring, and two teams of speedrunners face off while also playing infected in a counter speedrun way. I think it would be so cool to see.
Best wishes for healing that up! Behave and take it slowly, nothing is lamer than pushing a little too fast with a cranky ligament and having to start over with an even slower healing speed lol. They're cranky brats but they heal up okay if you're patient. Hope it goes well!
Your video quality has increased insanely man, seriously awesome video. I was never that interested in Left 4 Dead 2 speedruns up until you have made videos on it.
I've noticed the useful perks of the quick AFKs, and been planning to keybind it myself (I'm not a real speedrunner though, just a mediocre player who likes to make up for my poor skills with fun binds). I'm not even one minute into this video yet but I'm very excited to hear what you have to say! XD Edit afterwards: Yep, awesome and informative, as always. Thanks for all your excellent content and hard work, dude :)
Gotta admit you're probably one of my favorite speedrun channels on this entire site! Great explanations of source game jank so that my monkey brain can understand it
Hot damn these are some 5head skips. Love seeing how creative these get, reminds me a little bit like duo tricking videos for quake 3 except not as crazy as these warps.
I remember finding the grenade launcher boost. Me and my friends used to use that glitch on Bridge survival. We used launch ourselves up into the sky and survive as long as we could.

lets go, Left 4 Dead 2 speedruns have always been insanely fun to watch and suuuper unrecognized by the majority of the speedrunning community. i love seeing it get some spotlight for once
Interesting video. Always curious as to how speed running would work for a co-op designed game like left 4 dead, also good to see a fellow machine girl enjoyer
I remember our friends and I figured out that going AFK by disconnecting the controller (we were playing on Xbox) was a pretty effective tactic for the hardest difficulties, since bots have perfect aim and they even have some degree of wallhacks that let them spot zombies that would not be visible to human players. We effectively had a lead player trying to run as fast as possible while three bots acted as the best cheerleaders we could afford.
A fine choice on background music. If you like Machine Girl's music, I'd recommend Renegade Android, Boys Hotel, Starlit, Tokyopill, Optic Core or Casper Mcfadden.
Those three comments at the start were hilarious. "You shouldn't be allowed to use glitches in a speedrun" Why the hell not? The whole point is how fast you can physically beat the game at all. You don't want to see glitches? That's what a GLITCHLSS speedrun is for
It's so crazy I got recommended this purely on the fact that it was all because I happen to listen to the starting song Cyan Hardcore I was listening to it just before this RU-vid sure has some algorithm
ill never have a problem with speedrunning, unless it's in the versus mode for this game like, you have 3 people you did NOT tell anything to before zipping through the level before we even notice and then scooped up by a smoker because you, again, didn't say anything about blazing through the level at competitive speeds other than that, cool informative video that i like good
I swear the god the speedrunning community is consisted of the smartest and also the most stubborn group of people on the planet earth for being able to discover all these nitty gritty details in games and continue to do the same shit over and over for years just because we want to xD
