I thought 2020 sucked for me, but I think Ellis is having a much worse time than I am.

I'm not as good in speedrunning but in the Cola section, I throw the bile straight up in the air before opening the door, that air time is enough to give infected some time to spawn, and by the time it drops, I'm already halfway into the market, giving me more time to leave with the bile taking effect. I think it's more efficient so I'd like to share that with someone competent in speedrunning (something I'm not)

It’s been 3 years, and I’m going to be brutally honest here, I’ve watch this video at least 40+ times… And I just don’t get tired of it. I’m not a speed runner or whatever, but damn I like to see a good speed run gameplay and a good explanation of it. This video actually made me follow Waifu, along with Dante Ravioli’s collaboration.

damn. it takes about 54 minutes to casually complete one campaign. you did all of them in that time. 4x faster than a casual.

The panic event for the roller coaster is skipable. Just harder on newer versions Update: On the new "The Last Stand" update, they have completely removed it. You can no longer do it from the original way.

This is pretty neat. My four man crew and I optimized our campaigns to about 50 min each.

I'm very new to speedrunning this game, so I don't claim to know more than you, but as someone who's primarily speedrun Chapters 1 and 2, I get biles on the second level of chapter 1. It's isn't super common, but there's a few places where throwables spawn that you can get one at and on top of that, once in a blue moon, the commons in the hazmat suits will drop one. PS. Thank you so much, this tutorial has been invaluable for learning to speedrun this game.

Its funny, I've been doing the heal animation when in the safe house, for YEARS. I even tell my friends to start healing before the next map then close the door, lmao

I’m on a bit of a nostalgia binge (the moment Half Life was mentioned, my brain went into overdrive). I remember playing this game with my brothers and we used to do the dumbest stuff and would spend half the time shouting and not actually completing the game. It made the experience interesting for sure. I miss those times.
