Speedrunning FULL NETHERITE Armor in 40 Minutes (RSG)

In todays video I speedran getting a full netherite armor in just 40 minutes. All of this happened on a random seed in the minecraft version 1.16.
This was a really fun challenge, but at the same time you can get insanely lucky, for example you could find netherite ingots in treasure bastions, which could make this even faster.

So, I personally am a supporter of tnt strats, they're the fastest strats based on statistics. However, I think tnt strats are slower when you can't instamine netherrack, since to do tnt effectively, you have to build a gigantic tunnle, which is gonna take forever with no insta mine. So in this situation, beds were the right thing. You can kinda compare it to bastions in normal rsg. They're very often the play and way faster than classic, but there are scenarios where classic is viable and even better.

Agreed. Also in this run i got really lucky with the beds already, could have saved some time not going for all the temples :D

@@RealBenex The run wasn't optimised at all, but you also got crazy luck with debris rates. If you wouldn't have gotten so lucky, you would have needed more tnt. So it was the safer play to get to the temples. That's how I see it.

Great video and a fun category to watch! A faster nether stategy might be to search for a bastion with 3 netherite ingots in it.

Yeah thats the best strategy for sure, its just really hard to get in 1.16. I just did this challenge for fun, if I would only play this category I would probably switch versions.

Dude if ur running this category I'll suggest you to play in 1.17 or 18 bcz the chest r too overpowered in treasure bastion you can easily get 2-3 diamonds armour and atleast 1 or more than that netherite

Nice run! Could getting diamond armor through trading be faster though? Would need to level up an Armorer to master rank but it would be guaranteed to get all pieces.

crazy how a seed my friend randomly rolled when I was playing survival with my friends has world record potential lol. When I enter the nether, there's a treasure bastion 100 blocks from 0,0 and in it was 1 fortune III picks, 1 mending picks, 2 netherite ingot, 1 debris, 1 netherite scrap and 2 diamond armor pieces.

Does swamp clay trick or river clay/gravel trick count for the speed run or does it count as a glitch, because it can speed the diamond process up instead of it being rng based?

Three things:- 1) You should play this on 1.18 because diamonds can be found almost 2x more than 1.16 if you go caving in large cheese caves efficiently. 2) You should do diamonds first because if you get some extra diamonds it doesn't lake too much time to put min. efficiency 2 and it insta-mines netherack, it can save even up to half the time mining netherite. 3) Try and loot a treasure bastion if you ever find one because in the lower treasure there may be netherite(debris, scraps or ingot)

With f3 and g you open the chunk borders, then you go to y13-15 and use your beds/tnt/pickaxe to mine for the debris. Always use ur explosives at the chunkborder to find more debris on average

He’s hacking Lemme explain, so at 5:39 he opens f3 to see his co-ordinates but in the top left on the first line of text it says (fabric-loader-0.11.1-1.16.1/fabric/ fabric) and this is not normal for those of you that didn’t know fabric is a minecraft hack script loader that’s loads the hacks into the game so this must mean he does have hacks and for the parts of the video he cut out he probably enabled x-ray and other hacks to help him find the best gear and just before he starts recording again he disables it.
