Great video Glenn. Just fyi that cable will not stand up to racing. Broke 3 before I came up with something better. 2 if the the little ball on the cable broke on my FED. China.. love the gasser videos hope your at blue suede cruise at some point.
yeah views are hard to capture with the RU-vid algorithms ... takes so much to keep an audience watching and for RU-vid to then put a video in front of other viewers ... tough stuff! @@ThrottleStopRacing
maybe it's not about the topic per se or if something has or hasn't been done, but instead about the story you're telling and world you're showing in every video ... just a thought@@ThrottleStopRacing
I've got a 69 Nova that I just built a sbc427 for. I am working on the throttle linkage. Can you do a video on how to remove the old cable assembly? Can figure out how to remove the cable from the pedal and don't want to damage anything.
Great video. Ive been watching videos about aftermarket pedals and cables. My 78 C10's throttle cable attaches to the pedal with a plastic collar that has broken twice now. Sucks when you're speeding down the highway then you cant accelerate!
I would get a stock GM cable it will mount right up at the carb, but will take some modifying at the pedal. That pedal has to bottom out at WOT, so you can just mash it without pulling the cable apart and that way you don't take the throttle shaft out of your carb over extending it.
