Hello Cleo, and grannie, I just learned something clever and important, that recipe for gilding paste is still perfect, polishes up beautifully, is still stable, and can be coloured further with alcohol inks, which opens the door to unique, bespoke colours. Interesting. 😊🌈

I’m a sucker for anything Angel and these wings are precious, small, but such a big statement. Certainly a perfect card for someone going through a difficult time. By the way, this is a hint you probably already know…..anytime I have difficulty removing tape I just hit it for a few seconds with the heat gun, always works for me. Also helps when you used double sided tape to secure your card and don’t get it on straight (happens often to me!). I need a helper like Cleo! Have a beautiful day and thanks for your always beautiful card ideas.

This is a wonderful CAS card Chrissie and especially with the help of sweet little Cleo who was the perfect helper and love the layering up of the stitched squares and then the dry embossed one to frame the whole thing.. a really perfect sympathy card. I heard at the end of the video that you are visiting Northumberland so am skipping forward to the latest one which I think is the first after your return to see if you mention how it went as we have not long been back from there ourselves. x

I only saw the cottage reel last time, but saw the others when I took another look. The only one we didn't visit when we came before which we did this time was Ford and Etal and thought how lovely Lady Waterford Hall was with all the wonderful biblical watercoloured scenes around the walls. x
