I say a short setup video... But then the minutes just runs away. Anyway i hope you enjoy this setup video and that it helps you getting to know Your Radio. Enjoy and share
I am surprised you did not have one of these impossible to have radios: FrSky Taranis radio! For me DX9 is one of most beautiful transmitters in design! Have a great friday!
I just got this radio and this video helped me out a lot, thank u so very much for this video, you are greatly appreciated. I've been a subscriber for a long time and you've helped me a lot.Thank u.
That was awesome. Thanks for a very clear and easy to understand video on the latest from Spektrum. Waiting for my new DX7 gen 2 to arrive and this helped a great deal!
A quick question, please: I followed your Dx9 setup precisely, and yet I cannot get my flaps to work at all. Following your tutorial, I have assigned flaps to the GEAR channel on my receiver (Spektrum AR9020), but nothing happens! Any thoughts? Thanks!!! PS: My retracts, set up in Aux2, work fine. Hi ArcticRc, one question from my part; do you fly also large planes with this spectrum transmitter? Such as large 3D aerobatic or Jet models? Or is spectrum limited to parkflyers? Do you now pilots in your environment which use spectrum systems for large planes? I ask, because I am up to equip my large DLE111 powerd 3D plane with Spectrum components and DX9 transmitter. But I am still hesitating... Thanks in advance!
I have a DX9 and an airplane with an AR631 Receiver. I successfully set up SAFE select on switch A, then realized that I really needed it on switch B. I've tried everything I could think of to move it over with no success. If you know how to move SAFE from switch A to switch B, please let me know how. THANKS.
I am confused about what the flight mode or F-Mode function is actually used for. Specifically page 14 of the manual. Can anyone explain exactly how this is useful?
i was told many years ago when Brushless motors came that lowering throttle before you bind the receiver to Your plane will give you the best action from Your esc and reduse the risk of motor starting when binding.
Hey Bengt, can you try to use this transmitter to do FPV? Just curious about the range of this transmitter. (I know it depends on the receiver, too) Thanks
Can you show flight modes where elevator trims may be different for 4 flight modes: launch mode, cruise mode, thermal mode, slow mode, and landing mode.
Hi Sir. I have never done a setup for sailplane. But a good advice is to visit spektrum homepage. There you can download setups for just that way. I can make a video on how to mix if you like that.
Robert Kibler when you set up a new model. and get to the wing meny set dual/singel aileron and one or two flaps. go out of the meny and click the scroll wheel . scroll down to flaps an enable it and choose what switch to use and the do the settings.
+David Kropff Depends on Your updates. if let's say my radio has been updated and Yours not there can be some interference With sound. but not the Controls.
Start your radio and hold down the scroll button. then chose the model you wanna delete. scroll down to model utilities. click and there you have it. :)
I just bought the DX9 Black edition, and when it comes, my 1st action will be to Get Rid of that stupid voice. I have flown RC from 1975, over 44 years, and I have NEVER wanted or needed some female voice from within the radio to tell me what to do, or what is coming in 2 minutes. What a stupid idea. I cannot image standing at the flight line with 2 others, flying, and hear their radios saying all this garbage that the guys should already know about. WHY have the voice. It's distracting, and very annoying. I want silence on the flight line, SILENCE. Just the sounds of the motor or engines, or maybe an announcement of "Landing", "Taking off", or "Dead Stick". Nothing else. Oh, and I am NOT the only one. Our members total over 600 members, and many don't like the squeaky commands of a computer female, telling others what to do, and when to do it. If you don't know this, already, you shouldn't be flying!
