Those paintjobs are begging to be repainted. You nailed it with color variation. They need constrast. Shading, highlighting, and in some cases an expanded palette would help. Wish they were doing more with sprue minis at a reasonable price.

Booster boxes are nice. Though at least 3 of them are shifty. Like Monster Menagerie 3 where you cant get all minis in one bite since there an alternate look to several. All booster sets got better overall after Elemental Evil, from experience I got like 16! Boxes and STILL miss Green, Brass and White dragon which would be fitting for my starter set campaign series with Phandelver and Icespire. And Fizbans exclusion of many Gem dragon wyrmlings is unforgivable. They took out and used the Amethyst, Crystal and Yopaz ones with two variant poses each and made PROMOS with them! Sure can buy the 799$ Fizban collectors set in the US. BUT me in Norway? No chance, cant buy import it myself and my 3 x national trustworthy online store werent able to help me either. And they REALLY wanted the Fizban collectors box too! Blazing import rules...

I would like to say that dnd is often a game that has a much larger adult fan base. If you are worried about a child getting this then I would say it’s up to the parents if they allow the child to purchase such an item.
