It's nonsense, if you and a friend or anynody else are attracted to the same person you won't give up just to please her. If she's a friend you should have a conversation before, and it's ok if everyone tries the loyal way. Then the crush 'll choose one, the other or none. But I agree with you if your goal is just to ruin someone's chance to be with someone he/ she really loves but you have no feelings for this person.

@@SlickRicShow no, it’s an idiom that does use the word sell. I get why sail sounds like a more natural fit, but sell is the right word. Unfortunately now thinking about it, it has horrible roots. It likely comes from when people were slaves and you could trade or sell them along a river.
But also, if your friend is sleeping around on her dude, it’s not up to you to keep that secret from him either. If your friend can’t be faithful, call them out.
The only reason I don’t tell anyone where I got my stuff from is cause whenever I wear something that I found, I loved, it was my thing(keep in mind everyone else has their own signature clothing), and I told the person where I got it, the next day, I would literally see 4 people wearing the exact same clothing just in a different colour. And to top it off, people would literally say “omg u would not know what I found at the mall today… this shirt!” Ik I might sound weird for this but I just wanna keep what I find a secret sometimes so I can live with my own clothing that other people in my class can’t steal the “signature clothes”.😊
