I met an exgirlfriend of Spencer Lee who told me she was able to beat him in wrestling when they were on the bed together. I therefore challenged her to a wrestling match and beat her easily. That means I'm an NCAA champ.
@@thekeebman 4:23 he's such a tank he barely feels it and shakes it off, it's hard to tell but you can tell he is in a little pain after and continues to wrestle avoiding bottom position because of it.
@@ulisesmontoya9366 Its a ligament in your knee that's really important for stability. If you tear it, its pretty painful, immediately swells up. Moving becomes difficult because even just standing feels wobbly
m people don’t want to face the truth, Spencer had mono and shouldn’t have even been on the mat. He teched Glory, smashed Rivera, pinned Picc and teched Russell before he had mono, and then when he had mono he lost to Seabass, got pinned by Picc, had a close win against Glory, and a 4-0 win against Russell. By NCAAs, he was mostly recovered and smashed everyone including Picc and manhandled Mueller. He was practically unbeatable since 5th grade, and again after recovering and all this year. Or.....he forgot how to to wrestle for 2 months and the mono has no effect. Hmmm.......which one could it be?
Anyone notice at the end of the first when Lee was taking him to his back, the clock went from 2 seconds right to 00, skipped over 1 second. His back was exposed right at 2, so he should have gotten 2 back points.
I've been wrestling high school for 3 years and I have never seen a stalemate called. Ever. But it looks like refs do it a lot in college, which is awesome. Makes the match much more entertaining
Guys in college fight through single legs much better than hs kids. In hs when a guy gets deep on a leg, 99% of guys just belly down and work on escape or reverse. In college guys will go far ankle, throw chin whizzers, all kinda shit to save those two points. That’s why refs bring them more at the higher level
It's for 5 seconds not 4 like the gentleman said above. If you're on top and drop down to a leg on a mat return you have 5 seconds to either cut the guy and let him go, cover above the hips, or take the stall call.
Takedown is 2 Reversal is 2 Escape is 1 If you hold someone in a position where their back is facing the mat you’ll get a point for each second you do so A pin wins the match regardless of score
I dont get how at the time spencer being the returning champ at that weight is seeded 3rd lol makes 0 sense. Aint no one got anything close to spencer. Even still
