I love the metaphors in the music video oh my god. Pouring coffee into an already full mug, vaccuuming a clean carpet, Watering dead plants, mowing a desert... putting in effort and doing things that are completely futile because it's not going to change anything. wow i love it
Even cooler that the mug matches her shirt. Like pouring something into her, but it's pointless because she can't hold it. In general the colors are cool.

I really like the metaphor of caring for the desert. I think it was a unique way of portraying toxic couples that try to fix their already broken relationship.

Going threw a brake up of 4 years. I found this song legit two years ago and saved it to a RU-vid playlist called “songs I will never find again” so I had to save it as I was obsessed. Always went back to this tune when I felt sad. Then I stumbled across Spencer last year on insta from one of his original covers of Love Grows, I was obsessed, but couldn’t place where I had seen him before. Fast forward a year later, I’ve finally put two and two together and can’t believe how much Spencer had grown and blossomed . It is a genuine pleasure to know that I had heard this man’s voice way before the tik tok internet did. What a gift this man is!
