Hun, don’t worry about taking time off, I too am struggling this month as on the 14th is my birthday and it is also Mother’s Day and I lost my mom the week before Christmas last year so I completely sympathise with you at this time, plus you need some time out for you and Connor so you can enjoy your pregnancy before little man decides to make an appearance, plus you guys are going to be absolutely amazing parents and I know your mom would be incredibly proud of you. She will be watching over you don’t worry xx

Good to see you all looking so well. Katie’s memory board was lovely. The cookie mix was a good idea so she can have fresh cookies when she wants and it doesn’t make too much so they won’t go stale. We brought one of those dishes for Dixie to stop him gobbling his food, it slows him down a little. We also have a ball we add his dry biscuits too which makes him work a little for his food, he kicks it around the room and loves it. Looking forward to seeing the baby room reveal when you’re ready :)

So excited to see nursery reveal! I do want to say though, I'm not an expert by any means and I'd course it's your choice as parents but I heard Connor mention a sleepy head and just thought I'd say that my mum is a health visitor and they're really not recommended by them because babies can be at risk of overheating, it's literally one of the first things my mum asks on her first visit /chat with parents. Like I said, it's obvs your choice and I know how popular they are, I just wanted to mention it as lots of people aren't aware of the risks xx
Katie's laugh is lush and a day in her life solo would be awesome. Thinking of you and your family and sending you so much love. I lost my dad in 2014, the first anniversary & the days leading up to it were so painful it was like it was happening all over again. It’s still hard, but it gets better. You’ll see your white butterflies and your heart will slowly heal. Maybe never fully, but a little at least. It’s okay to be sad though, it shows the love is still alive. Praying you and Katie find some peace, comfort & happiness in these tough days 🤍🤍🤍
