Please can you declare if a vlog is sponsored at the start 🤨 it’s against TOS not to say, you could lose your channel and honestly - it feels like a sneaky sell and a bit deceptive… I do love your videos, but what an increase in ad vlogs lately 🫤

Hi the video isn’t sponsored I purchased the skin+ me products shown in the video and they offer a link to anyone on purchasing them , the eye products were gifted to me but again not paid or sponsored , I’m assuming that’s the part you were referring too ?? Wasn’t trying to be sneaky or deceptive at all so sorry if it comes across that way just trying to mix up the content .

Gifted items count as paid product placement and should be disclosed to viewers. Any day in the life vlogs which make content out of using products that have been gifted without saying just comes across as sneaky. It feels like a selling schtick. There’s nothing wrong with saying “I was gifted this item and this is what I’m trying out”, rather than making it look like you use something daily and routinely and then sneaking in a code at the end. Like I say, with respect, I like all of your content and follow all of your vlogs. But whether it’s an air fryer or some eye products - it’d be great if you disclose that something you’re about to speak about and essentially, endorse, is something you’ve been sent for free.

I ordered these using Claire’s code, it then gave me my own code to offer people the same discount. It is not a paid promotion or sponsorship, therefore she does not need to declare this at the start of the video… Claire literally was sharing a code that everyone gets if they purchase the products.

@@ChloeB92 if an item hasn’t been paid for, it should be disclosed as so. Please read their TOS re gifted endorsements, for clarity. Viewers appreciate transparency. It’s not that deep or worth debating. It’s a public platform and those are my thoughts on it.
