SPEND THE DAY WITH ME: Laundry, Holy Shakes, Baking Cornbread for the FIRST TIME

Spend the day with me and the kiddos as we get some ice cream from Holy Shakes and as I make some cornbread for the first time! My daughter Jadaiah was not digging the cornbread at all! I’m going to post the recipe below for anyone that wants to try it lol, I actually got the recipe from someone on RU-vid I forgot the channel name. HONESTLY, the flavour was good but it came out really grainy and I think it’s because I whisked it with my hand instead of with a mechanical beater thingy OR because the cornmeal I used was kinda coarse. Soooo, I’m not giving up, ima try this recipe AGAIN!

Cornbread Recipe
1. 1 cup of flour
2. 1 cup sugar
3. Sift through a strainer together into a bowl
4. 1 cup of yellow corn meal
5. 2 tsp baking powder
6. 1/4 tsp sea salt
7. Sift together through a strainer into bowl
8. Whisk dry ingredients together thoroughly
9. Add 1 large egg (room temperature)
10. 1 1/4 cup of milk (butter milk) added on 3 parts
11. Mix well before adding each part
12. Add 3tbsp melted unsalted butter
13. Mix thoroughly
14. Let sit for 10 minutes for mix to set
15. Spray nonstick cooking spray into 8inx8in pan
16. Bake at 400 for 28 mins or until toothpick/fork/knife comes out clean
