question for the next vid: do you ever feel pressured to like and recommend a popular book when you don’t really enjoy it? basically, does social media pressure you into doing things you don’t necessarily enjoy/believe in?
The scene were you kept the sound on and you played the cute moments, that was so freaking cute, I loved it so much ❤️, I started the reading challenge at June so like mid year, i read 39 books our of the original goal which was 35 and I’m currently 74% on my 40th book so this is the last book I’m going to read for this year.

I made my goal 60 because I’ve never read a ton of books but I have surpassed that at 145 books this year! You book girlies have sparked the love for books and reading ten fold.
Love looking forward to these Christmas vlogs each morning. My reading goal was 50 books but I also think that’s okay cause I set that in the summer and I wasn’t intentionally reading with a number goal until that point. I did reach it and so far I’m at 57 and hope to get to 60 atleast. I would love to do Steph’s reading goal of a 100 next year but still give myself grace and remind myself to not rush cause I definitely felt that in the last month or so with finals and midterms.
My reading goal was 40 books because I was in a book slump and didn’t read at all until june, and I just achieved the goal like 2 days ago, so I’m happy about that. I’m also being a mood reader and not putting any pressure on myself with the amount of books I have to read anymore so I’m genuinely in peace and happy 🫶🏻 congrats on your goal 🤍🤍

About the question, I feel like reading goals are sooo personal. I had a huge slump and only read 3 books in 2021, but picked myself up again last year. So my goal this year was 35 books and I ended up reading 76 so far (and will probably finish another one or two before new years’). My goal for 2024 will probably be 52 books, so one for each week. I feel like setting reasonable goals and keeping the bar for yourself low for things that are supposed to be fun makes you feel less pressured and more accomplished when you reach them.🤔

just wanted to say I've been watching all month and I've been so inspired to read again! ❣️ me and my roomie have been going into our parking lot (bc we dont have backyard :,)) and reading my book out loud in our lawn chairs. we both can't be w family rn for different reasons, but this is our lil grounding practice and it's lovely
