My name is Arslan and I’ve been living in vehicles for the past few years. My journey of alternative living began after I was fed up with the high cost of rent in the United States. I fell in love with the idea of living on the road, so over the years, I converted a sprinter van, a Camaro and most recently been living in my 2014 chevy suburban camper car. I enjoy making RU-vid videos and recording my different experiences to share with you guys. I’m also a nurse half days of the week because I have a significant passion for helping people.
In This video: We spend a whole day in lake tahoe to experience the car living situation, we cook and eat delicious food from my camper car while maintaining our stealth, explore and show you what the beauty of this beautiful lake.

Just recently got evicted from my apartment. I have a 3.5 beautiful baby girl and am terrified. My plan is to get hotel rooms for her and I when I have her and to live in my car when I don't. I recently stumbled across your channel and absolutely love it! Thank you so very much for making these. Very inspirational and uplifting. I know I can do this! I have just secured a $17 an hour job as well but need to save money obviously and living in my car will be the start. God Bless!

I love your videos! Scallop cooking tip from a former chef. Get the pan nice and hot and then sear them for a couple minutes. Do not touch/move them. Then flip. Do not put the lid on as it steams them and doesn't allow them to get a good crust. Can also overcook them really easily. My favorite scallop recipe is bacon wrapped scallops with a butternut squash farro "risotto". So good!

I was 22 miles south of you, yesterday, when I left Carson City Anytime Fitness (no knocks, nice peaceful sleep) ... in my suv, topped w/my cargo carrier. It was sooo cold & raining all day. Arslan....I see that you made it to one of my favorite spots, South Lake Tahoe, or SLT, as we we Californians call it! I spent many years visiting this area when I lived in Northern California. Now that I am living several states and a time zone away, I miss it! Get on hwy. 80, drive 6.5 hours east, hit hwy. 93 and come visit us in South Central Idaho! There are places GALORE for you to car camp with NO PROBLEM!!!!

Arslan, the reason you "somehow got permission to sleep overnight" at Safeway, is because I bet you were your usual chill and respectful self and asked nicely! Maybe you could get a springloaded curtain rod or shower Rodriguez and hang a long sheet or curtain across the truck behind your front seat. You'd still need to block off front windows, but it would be another layer of security against someone looking in and seeing something they want to take. Bonus, you could use it to hang wet items from or just extra hanging space!

That's what I do. I have a garment rod that i use to hang light jackets, etc, when I am not driving. When camping, I use to put my towels on daily to dry.

If you go to Monterey, near the aquarium on Cannery Roe , there is a great sea food restaurant called The Fish Hopper right on the ocean front . We watched sea otters 🦦 eat oysters 🦪 on their back and saw some seals 🦭. The surf hitting the rocks was spectacular. Be safe and well !

I just drove through and stayed the night in Lake Tahoe and parked and stayed in my Ford Transit Connect and didn’t have any issues thank God! 🙌🏻 I absolutely loved it there and didn’t want to leave. It’s stunning!

Chef here. Next time Cut the Scallops in half. Roast them together with the Shrimps (in olive oil) for max one minute (medium rare) and put them back on the plate. Now put in the clam in the same pan (dont clean the pan) with butter and a splash of water (it will emulgate with the butter and create a sauce) Now salt, pepper, miced garlic and a splash of Zitrone (we call it in Germany). Put the lid on so liquids stay inside. The clams will open (after 4-5 minutes) and release more salty water to make your sauce even better. As soon as the clams open put in the Shrimps and the Scallops + a little bit more butter and put the lid back on. After one more minute on relatively high heat everything will be cooked and youll have an incredible sauce. Your welcome P.S. Lime Leaves (very cheap, in every Asia Store) will make your life go brrrrrr while cooking but they need to be stored cooled or frozen or they will lose aroma after a few days.

I like how you show the logistics of living in a vehicle!!! Loved seeing you refilling the water. I had heard about it from Cheap RV Living’s Bob Wells but had not seen it done!!! You also showed in another video how to recharge the water pump without having to remove it by just using a phone charging brick. What a difference from having to remove them! Love your show! I purchased the portable stove after seeing you use it!!! So young and helping so many as a nurse and in being an example and sharing your experiences. Thank you so much!!!!

It's so fun to see where you are camping next! May I suggest you get a couple of "Master Blaster" squirt bottles at Walmart and fill one with clean water and one with soap water. I use my two to wash dishes and clean up messes. They're great for cleaning off dirty feet since they have a lot of force. They also save on water. Thanks for a fun video!

If you get the chance? A cool thing for you to see is in your area. The U.S. Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center in Pickle Meadows, Bridgeport California. -you can literally watch Marines practice top-roping and repelling on a cliff face in a pull off area just off the side of the road. Another once-in-a-lifetime experience 🙂👍 (I was once stationed there). Those Marines would get a real kick out of your rig setup if you showed them 💪
