While we all love the big budget trips with all of the frills and toys I think a lot of us would like to see more content like this as it's more in line with what the common overlander can relate to. Looking forward to more content like this in the future.
When buying an inflatable air mattress check for rated R value. The more insulation or therefore higher R value, the warmer you'll stay at night in the cold. The insulation in the sleeping bag or blanket will be crushed under your weight losing its insulation value. Furthermore an insulated sleeping pad is far less likely to "deflate" not because the air is better sealed in but because it will stay warmer which helps maintain a higher air pressure.
Great video. Looks like a lot of fun. Boy that battery in the rear cargo area really does take up a lot of room. Looks very tight fo a sleeping area. Sad that you can't get the Sequoia without the hybrid powertrain.
Lots of people are going to have buyers remorse when the Land Cruiser Prado and the Lexus GX comes out. The Sequoia is a big miss from Toyota. No battery in the back to have more space would have been better.
Can I get Andy’s phone? He can download maps OFFLINE 😮😮😂😂. I think he just forgot to say he downloaded maps for when they are offline (out of service area)
Pretty typical of anything Intex brand inflatables. Walmart won’t even take them back whether it’s been used or not. How’s that for standing behind a brand…?
That dumb decision from Toyota to make the third row area so high has made it pretty much useless for sleeping in. This precisely the reason we decided not to buy the Sequoia once we were able to test drive one!
