Thank you for the video. In this video how much different is the Fanatec CSL Elite Wheelbase PS4/PS5 (which I am getting with brake and accelerator packaged with no clutch) to the CSL DD 5Nm and 8NM? As for pedals what's your feeling for ClubSport Pedals V3 inverted? Also are you cool with Thrustmaster TH8A Shifter? Thank you, I love your humor keep it up!!!

Thanks for the video! Can you tell the height of the desk? I have 80cm and a bit worried that it will be too low. Also: were you happy with sitting height of playseat challenge? I mean, was it enough? Because I've heard that it can be too low for working desk setups Thx in advance

More shops in my country started selling Next Level seats while Playseat barely even sold the Challenge. This definitely looks like a good alternative, maybe little less comfortable than the Challenge but definitely offers more adjustability than the Challenge and the main selling point obviously is how you can store it away easily and it doesn't take a lot of room like "regular" racing simulators. I do need to check the diameter in my room and see if this can go between my bed and my table in a way I can actually sit comfortable and tuck it away easily when not used. Im tired of setting up my G27 on the desk itself and figuring out for like 10 minutes how to plug everything in, and even then im using an office chair so I just keep moving around when driving... Its annoying and definitely hurts performance. The fact you can tuck it away WITH everything still attached to it is really really cool and useful. This seat is perfect for the casual sim racer that doesn't want to spend thousands of dollars on a proper racing rig that he probably gonna use like twice a week or so considering his daily schedule. This will be 100% perfect for me. Also this is by far the best review ive seen for this seat, you show all the positive and negative things about it equally in a way thats easy to understand and not "carrying" around the least important stuff about this product. The comfort is the main concern. It may cost 1000$ and may deal with DDs but if you can't use it prolonged hours (because of lacking comfort) it is a piece of crap that will stay untouched several days/weeks just because of that.

How far forward can you mount the steering wheel? I have a deep dish car wheel on a T300 base and it looks like it would be nearly touching my chest if I used this.

Great video, ordered mine couple of days ago. So excited. I was also curious about the rubber pading on the bottom, so it doesnt have any.. I guess I will have to improvise something. Hope I will be happy with it, looks better then playseat as I only race F1.

Your reviews are really good but I was disappointed you didn't compare it directly with the Playseat Challenge as these are direct competitors - and are also the two seats I'm looking to choose between to start my entry into a sim rig. Could you possibly do a comparison review? If not, out of the two which is better and why?

I found it much easier for moving and assembly to keep the pedals clipped but not screwed in. I use Heusinkveld Ultimates with just the bottom half of the clip between the seat and pedals. It doesn’t change the performance and the pedals stay gripped and easily remove when moving.

i have a t300-rs wheel and GT EDITION PEDAL SET that came with it. i am having trouble mounting the pedal set with this rig since the holes seem not to be aligning correctly to mount. am i installing the pedal set wrong? i need help asap.

I am just thinking about buying this seat. It seems to offer a lot more than a playseat challenge. Folding is not that important. It is enough to fold the pedals and place the chair somewhere in the corner of the room. What interests me the most is whether the chair is comfortable? I think it has a metal bar when the knees are bent which can be uncomfortable, and the mesh itself on the seat is probably inelastic. Playseat challenge seems to me to be just too small for a 100 kg man, but i heard it is very comfortable.

By using the large strap that is used in packaging, plus the Velcro strap - as per NLR's video instruction - the rig becomes super stable. Doesn't budge an inch.

I only sat in mine for a few mins and the bar under your thigh already feels like it will become uncomfortable very quickly which is annoying... I may have to add more padding to sort that issue

Curious how you mounted your pedals and wheel base on the cockpit ? I just got a CSW 2.5 with the CSL pedals and the mounting bolts that were with my GT Lite don't seem to be enough. Did you have to get mounting hardware elsewhere ?

@@5gumsolcitice Well I mean in the video he has a DD (direct drive wheel) that produces much more torque that and belt driven wheel base like the TS-XW/TS-PC racer. Judging by how sturdy the wheel he has looks, I think you should be completely fine.

I personally prefer the Playseat Challenge. The Next Level Racing F-GT Lite is way too wide for me and it makes it look weird. It's really nice that it's so foldable, but it folds into a lower, but wider package than the playseat. I prefer a taller, but smaller package, because that shape is easier to store between a closet and a wall.

I would love the mix of the two. I don't have space, and according to NLR page, even the GT lite is 90cm wide and 176cm long? That's too big. Now, the playseat challenge is much smaller, but it doesn't have a shifter mount (the official one is shit, mods are not cheap and the playseat's price itself is the same as the NLR GT Lite), and you can't hardmount the pedals, which would cause problems for my T-LCM. I really want a foldable a cockpit, but it looks like none of them is an option. :( For now, I stick with my Wheel stand pro.

I just purchased one and i like it...there is a major issue in the GT position though...the steering wheel is too close to you and there is nothing you can do about it, i tried tilting the back just one step lower but it gets too far :( tried the same with the wheel position and also goes too far forward with just one step adjustment...... The stepped adjustments are really large...i just wished that it had Small adjustments... I'm having this issue when using Thrustmaster T300 wheel, when i used it with the G29 it was further away abit and was ok. i think i might drill some new holes in the wheel mount plate of the seat

That is my concern also, that maybe the wheel will be too close, or too far away, and the is no adjustments in that part... btw. is it easy to mount the T300? Did you mount pedals on the bottom or on the upper metal thing on the f-gt lite?, cause the pedals of t300 only have 2 holes in the middle for mounting (3 if you dont have brake mode instaled)

I really didn't have an issue with the GT position of the wheel, if you take a look at any real GT3 car inside for example, the wheel is really close to the driver (a bit higher would be better though)

Yes, you can move the seat angle back. The shifter cannot be moved.

Playseat is so much easier to fold and unfold, and I like the snug fit, whereas this looks like it's only meant for fat people. Shifter mount is also dead easy to make at home.

Bought this to fold away. First, it is huge. Too big for my space. Second, it is such a pain to fold up, if you are older than 26 you will hurt your back, so I can't see anyone actually folding this out of the way. Also, if you have hard floors you will scratch them up when wrestling with folding, and when tucking away. I'm returning for the smaller, easier to fold Playseat, A small rug to slide it around on, and a vesa monitor mount everyone buys for the stick shifter mountability. If you are a large person (6 ft, 200lbs+) you may want this one. If you have the space and don't plan on folding up, you may want this one.
