Thank you Brother Halvorsen. This gives me hope and strength. I have 6 kids with only 2 on the Covenant Path. My husband and I love all our kids and grandkids and take them where they are. Our oldest daughter has embraced Catholicism and this Christmas we were invited to Christmas Mass to watch our grandson as Joseph in the Nativity and the other grandson as a sheep. Our granddaughter sang in the choir. I was invited to sing with the choir...our daughter singing in it too...and what a wonderful time! They were happy we traveled 16 hours to celebrate with them and they saw we love the Lord, and them, enough to participate with them in their worship. We're learning to be this way with the others who are worshipping different than us. Our family is getting closer because of it and all 6 kids and 18 grandkids know we love them and we love the Lord. ❤
Today was a great day, but to Stumble upon Dr. Jared Halverson At the closing of my evening was truly A testament that God is helping me keep on the covenant path.
I love being a mental health counselor and getting to focus on the horizontal. Often problems arise because people within a client’s life or ward have experienced someone who focuses contentiously on the vertical “right way”. It is essential to the enough space for them to feel safe to make mistakes and still have an orthodox home to return to. Then work on the orthodox. What is truth and how does truth help and heal me? Great talk.
Is this the best talk he has ever given? I don’t know how he does it! He has a 🎁: this talk was a perfect parenting talk for me. I could listen a million times and apply it to just about anything. I can understand Gods will better know and it also helps me to understand the holy apostleship of the Lord.
Brilliant analysis bro. Halverson. For me Christ said if you have loved me love one another. Quite honestly, every time there is a election, it breaks my heart how many people are ignorant of true application of gospel principles. There's little dialogue about racism and discrimination. You are a wonderful teacher and see things as they really are.

Thank you! I used to dream that my brothers and I were driving in my Dad's truck and we were driving up a very steep mountain, almost to the point where I felt we could fall backwards. I dreamed it many times. And finally, I made it to the top alone. it was like a family reunion/BBQ in nice mountain park. And somebody told me I had to go back and bring my family with me. Your video simplifies that dream for me. Thanks again.

This reminds me of a lesson I've been learning, we don't need to be so doggone rigid. We can have loving relationships and allow others to make their own choices, and apologies to dear ETB, I don't actually have to be right all the time.

How would you say that Lehi and Nephi did with this. I appreciate your insights on this for I have grandchildren that are on a different path. Very helpful.
