When we open this road it was late winter (springtime) and the snow was compact and heavy soo we took of the sidewing..That way we plow the middle of the road with help of the roads highpoint..more balance like that.. Jocke This is Critic Mark Good Job ! I had no Idea it was a One Person Job . I was watching it trying to imagine myself filming while sitting Backwards trying to steady by pushing the driver of the Skidoo forwards . None of the 2 up Snowmobiles that we used to ride would have been comfortable trying to make a video while riding backwards . Thank you for this Capture .
High speed snow plows only work on light amount of snow. If there were over 4 feet of snow on the road they would have to drive a lot slower. Over 6 feet and you would need a snow blower. Even if the blade of a plow was 6 feet tall it wouldn't have anywhere to push it to or enough power or traction to move it.
Is it just me, or did that Snow Plow have School Bus Lights above the top of the Cab both on front, and rear ? It looked like Amber's, and Reds both, just like on a School Bus.
nothing any worse than opening up a road that has been used all winter by hundreds of snowmobiles, snow frozen solid,done it been there opening up logging roads in Maine
