Hi Ian I was wondering where exactly the right place before applying the stop on the forward cast is on this torpedocast ? Is it around 9 if your casting direction is 12 on a clock. Or another place, cant really see it in the video. Havent seen this cast before, but looks effective.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Rxdf5HIkN9I.html This video explains it in a little more detail. There are 2 important factors with this method. 1. The rod move along and around the torpedo at the same speed. 2. the stop, or acceleration of the rod tip comes only after you have made the little turn [as I call it], i.e. after the rod has physically made the turn which essentially is the link between the back and forward cast.
@@IanGordonsalmonfishing Thanks mate for your reply, surely made it more visible for me and hopefully others as well, love your calm way approaching flyfishing. Cant wait to try this. 💪👍
