Being able to make anything you can imagine a reality, is the most magnificent gift one could ever receive, i would never throw that away. This reminds me of the Movie "Star Trek Generations" there was this thing called the Nexus, it was essentially a dimension where your own thoughts and desires shape reality, to be or do anything you can possibly imagine, and It can be as real as you want it to be. Imagine if this was the afterlife.
The power to have my dreams come true. Giving that up would be the hardest thing I'd ever have to do. I would be the saddest I've ever been in my whole life.
Hi Yall, this is one of my fave movies - great atmosphere, great acting & dialogue etc but the ending could have been better - if I had the power they had I would of brought Barnes & Co back to life, back to reality...then forget about it...maybe
@@abbysands9510 Well it manifested subconscious thoughts too, thats maybe why they said they are not ready. Like when your brain just tells you dont like someone for no specific reason or when your brain is scared of spiders. That means their fears, moods, feelings, paranoia etc. And you cannot stop these thoughts so just manifesting end of the world and their whole word could go to ashes. But idk i didnt really get how that power they got works.
@@TheEvilDedolok The movie does not do a good job of explaining their powers. In the book it does a great job by explaining what they powers are. In the book when one of the scientist enters the sphere he is told by a smoky figure within the sphere that he has been given one of the greatest powers in human history, the power of thought, to be able to create anything just by thinking about it. The problem is as humans we have imagination and the second we still not evolve at least not evolve to the point where can control our thoughts but we can learn. Like you said things slip out, like the examples you gave fears, moods, feelings, etc and in someone who can actually manifest their thoughts into reality that can be a problem. In the film they were manifesting their fears and so that fear became a reality but that because they did not know they had the power, now they do they can learn to control it. I mean there could have all come together and manifested a mirror dimension (got that from doctor strange the film). They can use their powers to make dimension seperate from the material meaning they can practice and not affect the material world. They can also make the dimension timeless meaning there is no time given them endless time to practice. Check out heroes Reborn where Nathan to son of Claire Benett was trapped in evernote a city where there is no time and he learned to control his power and could literally be two places at once. A feat Hiro could not do. Think vanishing point in the Legends of Tomorrow where Mick in Legends of tomorrow spends lifetime training in the vanishing point. Over time they we learn to control that power the power of creation. Good job they made themselves forget because knowing I gave up the power of a god will hunt me for the rest of my life.
@@abbysands9510 Im pretty sure humans cant learn to controll their thoughts. Its in our nature to worry about things and thinking ahead to avoid danger. You could make a alternate dimension but again your mind would get scared anyway. What if i get stuck there, what if i lose my powers in the meantime and it especially doesnt stop the thoughts about the real world too. The think that doesnt make sense to me if they can wish anything. They could (if they realised fast enough) wish to master the ability, or just wish to give it rules before manifesting anything, wish to not think about bad things (this one sounds stupid for many reasons but whatever u get the point). U know they dont have to learn they could just wish to learn. And that just sound like really easy solution but i dont know maybe someone knows answer for this question too.
@@TheEvilDedolok Maybe not all humans but monks can, I have just finished reading the book "Think like a monk by Jay Shetty" there is an audiobook somewhere on youtube if you want to listen. In that book, he mentions that through years of training monks are able to control their very thoughts, such as negative thoughts, ego, fear, feeling, etc really good stuff, so maybe they can control the power. You are right about the wishing thing if they can simply make themselves forget then can also wish themselves to become better at mastering the power. They can even put psych blocks in their mind to dampen the power, think Molecule man in the Secret wars who believe he could control organic matter and so he created blocks in his mind which prevented him from doing so until Doom who had the power of the Beyonder remove it, then Molecule man became the second most powerful person in the multivese.
That's what made this movie scary a 3 dimensional cylindrical ball that can reflect what it wants 9 ×out of 10 man didn't get that far technically to build something as complex as that traveling that far was a achievement this thing is as old as time an from what I hear a circle represents consciousness, soul, a spirit an this golden sheen ball never manifested any power of its own the crew did unintentionally with evil random thoughts was this a test mixed with science an religion who know?
