That warning is what Pac would later use as the reason for saying BIG knew something was going down. But the thing is, BIG didn't tell Pac much in the real sense. He just told him to be wary of those guys and when Pac pressed him for more info, BIG didn't divulge more maybe cuz there wasn't more to say. BIG wasn't psychic, there was no way to know at the time that Jimmy Henchman was looking to teach Pac a lesson for daring to ask to be paid for a feature. All BIG knew was that that whole click was shady and he told Pac as much. Pac went into details on all this on "In His Own Word", an interview he did with Sway Calloway.

@@K-Six , you know that track was done LOOONG before Pac was shot right? Should Big have dropped it, of course not. Plus keep in mind Pac was in deep financial trouble, so he was scrambling for money. Big unlike Pac "LIVED" in NY, so just like Pac..he was getting extorted too (along with Puffy). And while you're at it, Puff and Andre Harrell both knew what was gonna happen that night at the Quad, but not Big. It was just supposed to be a lesson but Pac was a fighter and wasn't about to just "let" somebody robb him. Don't blame him for that
@@dkscott331 It was done so they say, but there was never any hard proof of that, and even so, for Big to drop a track like that after something like that happened he did know it would push his sales. That was poor of him either way. Big was literally wearing Pacs jewels after also, so I'm not gonna lean on that one. I can respect that I wasn't alive at the time though, and therefore do not have the grounds to argue any further than this.

Just check Little Shawn's interview about that night BEFORE they got to the studio. I guarantee you had both Pac and Big were alive today, they'll even tell you they made mistakes (especially as young as they were). If the shoe was on the other foot, You would have been like well "Pac did tried to warn him and Big did not want to listen so that`s what he gets for not listening." The fact is Pac should not been hanging out with people like that in the first place, considering the fact that he acted like he was pro-black, and Haitian Jack and his crew bought nothing but death and destruction to the black community. That`s hypocrisy on Pac`s part and also leaves open for Pac getting into problems with people. Because even if he and Jack did not have fallen out, if one of Haitian Jack`s enemy`s see Pac with Jack, Pac would be seen as guilty by association and Pac would be in danger of getting killed.

Rap artists in the past use to go at Quad Studios. This studio was known for making classic songs. You also should know that rap record sales are not important! Just focus on getting (props)/respect in hiphop.
