My sister and I were the biggest Spice Girl fans when we were growing up, in Feb 2008 she sadly passed away aged 19, we played this song at her funeral surrounded by all of her friends and family. It’s still hard to listen to without tears but always reminds me of what we had ❤️

This song is beautiful. They’re so relatable and people love them for it. The fact that they wrote this song about Geri is obvious. But if you really listen to the music you can tell they forgive her (despite it being difficult) and just wanting her to be happy even if it’s not with them! It’s so sad but beautiful as well!
I have to confess (bein a guy) that i absolutely love this song. I have watched it over and over many times. Takes me back to a magical time in my life and Emma is gorgeous beyond words/so cute. Was 28 when this was Xmas no1, but its memories that keep us alive no matter how sad. Where does time go ???
I loved the Spice Girls and had their first 2 albums on cassette and had posters and wasin love with Geri and I'm a guy, straight and loved their music. I was 9 then tho but this was such a bliss moment in my life because it was the end of the decade and I was innocent and loved anything. This was on every radio station back in 98 and on sky 1 and mtv UK. Totps was the real deal still then...miss Friday nights! TFI also....
I love them all. Maybe when all their kids are grown, they can do a TV performance in England. They don't have to travel. They worked so hard to get where they are. Their songs are classic.

Was 9 when this was number 1 at Christmas in 1998. I loved Geri and knew it was a huge blow for them but they powered through! God I miss the 90s when I had Spice Girls on tape and their poster on my wall. Loved them so much! 33 now and won't give up!
In November 2020, I'm confirming that it was a great decision to have a poster of Emma next to my bed for a few years of my youth. Beautiful and an amazing voice!

Even in the grocery stores I saw their faces coz of the Chupa Chups lollipop where you can collect their stickers! They were so phenomenal! Pigtails were all over the city for the 90s kids coz of Emma! Lol
