the number 1 thing is to keep eating and don't stop. once you stop, the heat will kick in hard and you will keep trying to cool down the pain

Pretty much. It's a sprint because the damage always comes afterwards. Win the challenge and suffer 10 mins until victory. And then, it goes downhill from there, until the bowel movement where hell visits you and you fight to stay on earth. HA!

Y'all need to stop chugging water and soda when eating spicy challenges, it just makes it worse. Milk, ice cream, bread can help far more than water or soda.

After trying the wings Blaine even went in for seconds and then again for a third taste. It didn't look as if he was having any trouble with the spiciness. I think he might have a chance beating this challenge.

@@qwertpoiuy430 Yes, the milk helps temporarily, but the other stuff plus the dairy product will make it worse, once that heat and chicken are being digested. I don't know how the professional eaters like Raina do it. I have a strong stomach, but if i go through their kind of diet, my acidity level goes berserk. They must have snake-like digestive systems. lol!

I’ve eaten ghost pepper wings and they weren’t bad. Was there something else in the sauce I missed? Im so confused because Raina has done spicy challenges in Japan which I feel would be way hotter than this?

This sauce may have a higher percentage of ghost peppers in it. I've had ghost pepper sauces that are like 1% peppers and not even a little spicy. That sauce there is pretty thick so I'm thinking a LOT of blended peppers in there.

That's why I'm soooo confused. I watched her do a ramen challenge that had 10 scoops of pure pepper powder 2 scoops of cayenne pepper a few scoops of another pepper. ?????. I could understand if it was pure capsaicin like that other ramen she took 2 bites of.

Very warm or hot water (not scalding) is the way to clean the heat from your mouth. It's a killer in the moment you have the warm water in your mouth, but it's the fastest way to get rid of the pepper heat, way faster than dairy.

My mouth was burning just watching this! Next time you do a spicy challenge, have an orange, lemon or grapefruit handy, the fruit or the juice helps break down the oils. Then follow up with ice cream.

You can tell she was in alot of discomfort and pain because I've never heard her refer to anyone as "dum dum" or call them out of their name in a passive way in any of her videos before. Lol shes just naturally sweet n caring n polite. It's a good thing to know when to quit though. You'll live to eat another day. Haha

Raina anytime you want hot spicy food. You need to coat your mouth before hand. Drink Apple cider vinegar. Also yogurt helps with cutting into the oils of hot peppers.

No, it's...FOR THE GLORY! (*Gladiator voice*) Seriously though, that's the job she chose to keep a following. The food is covered, you go on the wall and get a t-shirt. The 10$ are just for the heat, but the restaurant is not obligated to give it. It's a food challenge, that's how it works.
