Spider at Waldameer in Erie, PA.
Opening in 1977, Spider was made by the Eyerly Aircraft Company. Riders are lifted up and down in a circular motion with free spinning vehicles, providing dizzying thrills and kinetic energy to the midway of Waldameer. The park recently announced Spider will be retired at the end of the 2024 season and will be replaced by Time Twister, a Zamperla NebulaZ.
