spider guard is my newest favourite set up for triangle.. by the time my opponent gets fed up with my foot in their elbow they start missing the fact that i'm getting ready to shoot the triangle. its beautiful

Bjj Joe thanks for all the videos. Did you do one where you teach which direction to sweep an opponent on 1 knee? I thought you did but now I can't find it. help please

im starting with the spider guard after years of mainly just passing guard, my main issue here is that with these sweeps , even though i can kick the extended leg up to about 12 o'clock position, but no more and i find it so hard to sweep , is it cuz my hips are too close to my partner ?

+Jeff Chen You need some space and movement. Don't give up and keep trying. You'll eventually "feel" it.

You have great instruction. A camera angle off to the side may be a bit more helpful to catch some of the details. Love what u do though.
